I have recently acquired this Zimmer and have gone throughout it to make it ready for the next owner.The car has spent most of it's time in Florida and here in S.C.. The local Mercedes dealership gave the previous owners family my number and I purchased most of the cars in the collection..I literally had to pull this car out of the corner of the warehouse where it has been for the last year..I put a fresh battery in it ,some sta-bil for the fuel, pumped the throttle three or four times and it fired right up..Checked all the fluids and after it ran for about a half an hour I drove it to my store,Where for about a week non stop I have spent countless hours cleaning ,road testing ,checking for rust under the car and under the seats to make it a good safe driver..The car is ready for a new home.. I have had several of these in past and they were all white or magnolia colored..This one is a very light almost creamy brown with a cream interior..When they said they had a brown Zimmer for me to look at I thought of an old metallic brown car from the seventies,Once i pulled the cover off and rubbed some compound on the hood I realized the color made this car unique.. The exterior of the car is in great shape,The paint has been wet sanded and polished and doesnt show too many imperfections..I also redid all of the pinstriping on the entire car..All of the vinyl and the threading on the trunk and roof are absolutely perfect.The hood has a few little blister spots on the top right of the hood by the cowl from age but they shine very well and yours eyes are'nt really drawn to them..With the exception of the grille all of the chrome is in very nice condition as well as the stainless around the windows..The grill has some dryness on the very top and a few areas on the side by the headlight covers...You have to be very up close and near the headlights to even see and even then its kinda hidden.. The interior is near perfect, I had my interior guy come out and really all he could find was a few interior touch ups ...The seats and color really stand tall with very little wear or discoloration..I know these cars very well and we pulled the front and rear seats out to check for rust or wetness and found none.. The a/c was vacuumed down and recharged and it will freeze you out. All interior lights, switches,windows, buttons , the horn , radio , trunk power antenna and anything else related to convenience features work as they should as well as all exterior lights.. Door trim,fog,fenders and main headlights.. the only issue i found with car is that the wheels are kinda rusty, I got a close up one of them in the photo..I dont know why this happened the car isnt rusty and i've verified that ..I thought about finding a set similar to these but then figured the next owner can rechrome these or pick out what they would want on their own..Didnt want to increase the cost and then put wheels someone else did'nt like..The tires are in excellent condition with plenty of tread and don't have any flat spots that would cause a hop.. All of the vases are in the car along with all the jacking tools the car came with from Zimmer...This cars number in the door jamb is #607..The vehicle also comes with all the Zimmer owners manual and warranty cards as well as literature and brochures that I found in the glovebox. I pulled the carfax at my store and it was clear with no accidents yet its states (Branded title exceeds mechanical limits)..Yet the mileage is in line with carfax and the current title does'nt have any branding..Nor did it have any branding in the previous owners name..It was probably DMV in Florida's version of what S.C. calls EXEMPT on any car 10 years or older..But mileage is 34,000...... Even though I have really picked this car apart in this ad it is a very nice car..I just want everyone to know what I can see,That the pictures might not show.. Some are going to wonder why is it so inexpensive compared to others, Whats wrong with it ,Things of that nature and I've gotten those questions on $3000.00 to$100,000 cars..The answer is I don't care what everyone else sells their items for and I don't care what N.A.D.A. says a car is worth..Frankly I don't think I've ever gotten N.A.D.A. retail or Hemmings or Edmunds retail values for a car..Not that they wer'ent nice vehicles, I know what I need to make on a vehicle,So whatever retail is! is irrelevant to me.So bid confidently..This car is an 8 out of 10 If anyone is needing shipping enclosed or not just let me know I can help arrange shipping as I ship several cars a month for customers.. In the next day or so I will be putting some better pictures on my website.. southernmotorcosc.com Regarding my 1 negative feedback ever..I sold a woman a 1972 right hand drive austin mini for much less than I wanted on a Buy it Now that I changed to fit her budget...She couldnt use her Jeep unlimited with a tow dolly to haul it to Florida because U-haul deemed it unsafe as her jeep was classified as a convertible...I then told her I would physically drive her car to her 8-9 hours to Disney where I was going anyway in a few days.Its actually a 6 hour trip but the car is at 3500 rpm at 55 mph! .She lives in Clarendon about a half an hour away..I did her paper work in the hotel at 1 a.m. and she was done..About a week later she calls me mad about an oil leak under her car..I asked whats up and she said the BMW / MINI store in her town had to take the motor out to find it the oil leak and they could'nt find it and still charged $1500.00 labor..So even when she was mad at me I found someone down there to help her fix her car..It was the oil sending unit O ring...Her bill was 60.00..She was happy yet Ebay could'nt remove the negative feedback once it was posted..The term No good deed goes unpunished fit well for that deal...But the rest of my feedback is great ... The car just came back from the shop today..I put new mufflers and piping on it today..It also got new chrome tips also...looks very nice I will get shots of that also...It is still a single tailpipe with 2 tips like factory...
