Tangerine Sunset Ride on air on cover of Hot VW's Magazine constant show winner. $32,000 invested. 1600cc engine fitted with dual Kadron carburetors, 009 distributor fitted with Petronix, 1.25: rocker arms, and a Bugpack Qp Header system. Engine compartment features a reflective firewall, chrome engine sheet metal, and a painted detailed case. Rancho Performance Transaxles ( Anaheim California) did the job on a basically stock gearbox, but did fit it with taller gears for better/faster freeway cruising. Undercarriage painted with flames.
