Up for auction is a 1973 mustang fastback. Good solid car that was originaly in storage for around 20 some years. The motor trans and rearend are original to the car. Was originally yellow paint and ginger interior so these are the stock colors that came on the car when new.I replaced both lower rear quarter and 1 floor panel behind drivers seat. Other then that the car is very solid and is all steel (no bondo) It is not a mach 1 but has the Mach 1 spoiler , stripe kit, and nasa hood ,the hood is oem. The stripe kit is a 71-72 kit. I just liked those styles better. Has a 351 Cleveland 2v engine. Motor has new crank, bearings, mains, rings, new oil pump , and water pump. has original carb as well. Paint is new in the last year but not high quality show but great driver presentation. Interior has new upholstery along with carpet and headliner and dash pad. The dash is original paint, thought I would leave it alone. all glass is good. I was going to change out the old school cragers but have not had a chance yet. They are in need of some rechroming. I will say that the tires were brand new when the car was put in storage. So they are vintage tires (nylon) they are still like new. No dry rot at all. Also has rear air shocks. Still needs exhaust. has old school cherry bombs on it and has some holes in the exhaust. carb needs tuned alittle. goes down the road straight. Has some flat spots o the tires from sitting. Has only been driven locally so not certain how the long haul will do.
