1987 BUICK REGAL TURBO 1 OF 2000 Collector GRAND NATIONAL with 1987 Intercooled Turbo Drivetrain This is an original 1984 Buick Regal Turbo Grand National with a complete 1987 drivetrain, engine, transmission and rear end with low miles (50k on 1987 engine). It is one of the rarest Turbo Regals made. One of the 2000 made. They made over 20,000 GN's in 1987. It currently has 72k miles on the odometer. Black with gray interior, bucket seats and factory console with floor shifter. Power windows, cruise control, tilt wheel, analog gauges, rear defogger, third brake light, sport mirrors and posi rear. The power windows work, but the passenger side is slow. It has new shocks, new radiator, new crank and cam sensors. It runs, drives and shifts excellent, it is a very quick car. Clean title. Mechanically this Turbo Buick runs very good. The transmission shifts firm and still chirps the tires in second gear. The interior is very clean. The front bucket seats are nice. The carpet and steering wheel are in great condition. The dash looks great. Every option does not work on this car, the antenna does not go up, the cruise does not work and the speedometer works, but the factory RPM gauge and boost gauge does not. The A-pillar oil pressure and boost gauges work great. The temperature gauge on the console works great too. All the original emblems are present as well as the 1987 added "Intercooled" badges below the Grand National badges. This car by any means is not "perfect". I would rate it higher than your average "daily driver" but not to ever be confused as a "show car." The paintwork is not show quality, but it does shine nice and looks great from a few feet away. There are a few scratches, dings and imperfections. There are a few small rust spots on the front of the lower drivers door, rocker and drip rail. Keep in mind this car is black and not pin straight, but for being a over 25 year old car it appears to be very nice. This Turbo Buick is very solid underneath.
