Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Seen enough Mustang Convertibles, Machs & Standard Hard coupes? IF YOU ANSWERED YES “CHECK OUT THIS ULTRA RARE THOROUGHLY DOCUMENTED 1969 MUSTANG GRANDE”! Most of my friends would say if someone called me a Ford fan it would certainly be an understatement. I have a passion for Mustangs in particular. Since I have cleared the air with that statement I would like to say that ‘I am happy & saddened” to present what I consider a pretty special car. Up for auction is a drop dead gorgeous 1969 Mustang Grande. I would like to say 1st that if you’re looking for an 80 thousand dollar show car please don’t waste your time reading this ad. However if you are looking to enjoy a car that looks like a million bucks while turning more heads than a Shelby Mustang “you’re in for a treat”! There’s a lot that can be said about this awesome Mustang so let’s get right into it. To start I would like to say that this little pony can’t be driven anywhere without causing mass hysteria! Everywhere that you go at anytime of day you will hear the: same things said {in general} IE: ‘Nice ride” “That’s sweeet” “Wow that’s absolutely gorgeous”. This car is truly a pleasure to cruise & a blast to drive! Every time you peel the car cover back it’s a different adventure! The flame reddish/orange exterior simply dances in the sun and gleams off the eyes! The paint is absolutely stunning “people seem to see her coming from a mile away”. I have had quite a few ponies in my stable, but I must say that this car gives you a special feeling when you sit behind the wheel. The color on this amazing Mustang is designated by Ford as “special” in their description of it {please see build sheet}. The actual color is close to Calypso Coral. Very few Mustangs in 1969 where produced with this color exterior. The Coral classification & brand code was usually reserved for the higher class cars {Boss, Shelby, etc}. The paint is extremely nice! There’s no obvious eye sores to been found anywhere on the body & the paints contour is very smooth. There is one spot on the passengers’ quarter where you can see three tiny bubbles in the paint. No rust no big deal, but always worth mentioning. All things being equal the paint has a lot of pop to it. Absolutely no disappointments “STUNNING CAR”! Cruising down the freeway you will simply feel that you have the only car on the road because everyone seems to be watching you. The body on this vintage Ford should also be considered very nice! I am certain that the new potential owner will be more than happy the appearance of this one. There are no bondo or wave issues [like the ones found on most classic cars}. This car looks better in person than it does in the pictures. All of the panel’s line up perfectly & there are no gaps to be found from any angle. There is a binder full of documents that goes back quite a ways that will give the new potential owner great details showing how this car has been cherished & cared for. More about that later. Anyway this classic Grande came equipped from the factory with a vinyl white top. It was refurbished at some point and it still looks incredible. There are no tears or deep routed stains in the vinyl. It really compliments this hot Mustangs exterior wonderfully! As you make your way around the car you will also notice the white GT side stripe along the rocker panels. The addition of it really seems to waken this pony up even more! Open the door of this Mustang and you will find a near MINT deluxe interior! This Grande Mustangs interior is simply breath taking! I love the cars dual nature {muscle outside} & {elegance inside}. One of the first things that you will notice is this cars perfect seats & head rest. The covers have been replaced before & it looks as if every other interior component was as well. I can attest that after inspecting many Mustangs previously this ones interior was done right! The seats are extremely comfortable. The deluxe door panels are in superior shape & the wood appliqué looks new. I would like to also take time to mention that this Mustangs dash pad looks as if it has been wrapped since 1969. There is not a hint of a split seam or a crack in the panel to be found. I would consider the interior to be show quality. The carpet, rear seats & headliner are in phenomenal shape. The phrase rare opportunity is thrown around quite loosely in today’s classic car market place. Therefore I will let this classic Mustangs speak a bit more for itself. This Grande comes with an actual {working} Rim blow steering wheel! The console, electric clock & working dome light add yet more flare to this wonderful Mustang. All of the chrome appointments on this vintage Ford stand tall as well. The rear & front bumper look very sharp & the pillar moldings are nice and shiny. The running grill horse warning the Bow Tie boys that a mean Blue Oval is cruising the road looks spank brand new! The gas cap, side markers and rocker panel moldings are very presentable as well. Everyone that has come across this special Mustang raves about it! STILL STANDING JUST AS FORD RELEASED HER! YOU WON’T FIND MANY AROUND LIKE THIS “ESPECIALLY BEING A DOCUMENTED 2 OWNER VEHICLE! Let’s get back to the listing. When most think of Fords 302 V/8 that was placed under the hood in 1969 they know that they expect decent power and acceptable performance. Well you can throw the book away on what you’d come to expect out of the average small block in this car. This particular Grande came equipped with one such block; however it has been completely transformed, rebuilt and recreated! Basically the displacement is the same but everything else has been scrapped. This pony is no push over. The motor was rebuilt with top notch performance components & a competition cam! Aluminum twisted Wedge heads are the order of the day on this motor “so the big block guys should expect to pack a lunch”! Although I can’t get into naming every single detail like must gear heads do. I can assure you in simple terms that “This baby will run”! The car is still very user friendly and it is truly a pleasure to drive but, the power is on tap and at your disposal if so desired. This Blue Oval has an incredible lope at idle and it has a big block rumble upon starting it. She really causes people to stare at each & every stop light. You can expect someone to take a peak when you roll up {if you’re bashful you better look elsewhere! Not annoying …just a beautiful deep big block rumble. Although street driving is fun the car really just seems to LOVE the open road! The factory C-4 transmission engages properly through every gear. It has also been rebuilt and performs wonderfully {receipts included}. GREAT TORQUE “a strong runner”! This Mustang has a D.S.O. shipping order of {Portland Oregon} which exactly where I picked it up from. The trunk & inner rockers are in excellent condition. There is no rust to be found underneath either. The underbody is nice and solid and the frame is in excellent condition also. As if this car wasn’t cool enough. I am also including the actual dealers invoice with the sale of it! The invoice lays out every option. Special paint Rim Blow wheel Color keyed racing mirrors Wheel lip & rear deck moldings White vinyl roof Power front disc brakes Console Select shift cruise a matic transmission Remote mirror Modified suspension Electric clock & the list goes on! It was financed by Ford Motor credit and actually cost a bit more than the base Mach 1 & standard convertible when originally sold & delivered. I am including the dealership purchase order with the car also! Need more documentation? This one has the actual build sheet included with the sale of the car as well! That’s right its birth certificate has never been saved through the years {some parts of it has seen better days, but no matter how you slice it that’s hard to come by. “She’s truly a RARE piece”! Garaged and covered {car cover included}. This classic Ford is ready to be enjoyed! Much more could be said about this RARE Mustang. Feel free to email or call with questions.
