Hello. You are bidding on a 1969 MERCURY COUGAR NO RESERVE AUCTION. The power plant consists of a V-8 engine coupled to an Automatic transmission. This clean COUGAR drives and handles very well. There is no hesitation from the engine under power and when the brakes are applied firmly, the car stops in a straight line. There are no fluids leaking from either the engine or transmission. The car is finished in a Black color that shows in great condition. All of the external lenses, chrome moldings and glass surfaces are present and intact without any cracks, pits or broken pieces with the exemption of the rear gas lid lens that shows a crack(see photos). The lighting and electrical systems are in proper working order except the interior dashboard lights. The passenger cabin is in good condition. The seats, carpets, and headliner are in great condition. The odometer currently reads 79,855 miles but due to the age of the vehicle and a 5 digit odometer Rpm Lenders is unable to verify the reading as actual or correct. The entire undercarriage shows rust free. Additional equipment includes; Power Brakes, Power Steering, Air Conditioning that blows but not cold (may need recharge?) and a Kenwood AM/FM CD Player. The vaccuum operated headlight doors don't work. All four tires have about 60% of thread life remaining.
