Please read before asking questions, thanks! Up for auction is my carefully driven 2000 Honda Insight gas-electric Hybrid. It is rated at 70mpg highway by the EPA, and the lifetime average mileage is 60.1mpg in mixed driving. It is in great condition inside and out and drives great, no mechanical issues at all, I would drive it anywhere without hesitation. I am the 2nd non-smoking owner of this vehicle, the original owner provided me with all of the receipts of maintenance performed from when the car was new. There are no oil leaks, no water leaks, no exhaust leaks, transmission shifts smoothly in all gears. Recent work includes new front brake pads and rotors and the EGR valve was replaced. Car has been garaged at my house since I have owned it, the paint is very shiny. The interior is especially clean, the seat fabric and carpeting are like new, when I purchased it I bought new Honda floormats and they are still in nice shape. The only cosmetic issues are: a small indentation on the right door (it is too small and un-noticable to call a dent), a small scratch on the right rear panel that is touched-up with Honda touch-up paint, and the windshield has a small crack that is hidden behind the rear-view mirror, when you sit in the drivers seat you cannot see it so I never bothered getting it fixed (see pictures). The wheels are not perfect and do have some corrosion, keep in mind this is a 12 year-old car. I do not know if the IMA battery has been replaced, there are no IMA issues.
