I am selling my 2006 Subaru WRX STI. I purchased this car new at Bay Ridge Subaru in Brooklyn in April of 2006, and it has been my daily driver ever since. Factory options include: short throw shifter, auto dimming rear view mirror with compass, and subwoofer. This car has never been raced or abused. All maintenance aside from engine oil changes has always been performed by Subaru dealerships. I changed from conventional oil to synthetic oil at around 30,000 miles, and have stuck with 3K intervals since then. When I purchased the car, I purchased a 7 year / 100,000 mile warranty from Subaru North America, which is still valid for another 50,000 miles and until April of next year. This car has never been in an accident, and has had no paintwork, aside from touchup paint of two stone chips that are shown in photos. The condition is as shown in the photos. It is in great shape, and has less than normal wear for a 50,000 mile car. There are some minor stone chips, and rash on the rims. All of this is shown in photos, and is minor. The original head unit comes with the car, though I swapped it with a Mac Mini computer and touchscreen setup in 2008. The computer power button has been mounted next to the intercooler wash switch, with a scroll wheel mounted on the steering column. The installation is reversible, and the original head unit with 6 disk changer works perfectly. In 2008 the rear struts were replaced by Subaru, and were covered by the warranty as defective.In December 2011 the brake pads were replaced, rotors ground, and fluid flushed. This was also the time of the car's last major service of all fluids. This car is also for sale locally.
