1974 Plymouth Cuda Up for auction is a genuine 1974 Plymouth Cuda (BS23G4) all numbers matching original 318c.i. engine and original 904 automatic trans. with 8 ¾ rear end and 3.23 diff., factory build sheet, fender tag, power Disc brakes, power steering, Rallye hood, EV2 high impact paint with AAR stripe and hood black out, black interior, fender tag, go-wing, 15” rallye wheels/tires, and 2 ½” dual exhaust with flow-master type mufflers. The Cuda was just restored and was disassembled when painted including glass, doors, trunk lid, hood, interior etc. Since being restored the Cuda has under 100 miles on it. The Cuda was professionally detailed, wet sanded and buffed for that glass like mirror finish. This fine Cuda will provide you with an excellent all purpose car for shows, cruises and cruising! This is a true factory built Plymouth Cuda. There were only 2,748 total (BS23G) hardtop coupes built in 1974 and 2,413 were automatics. The build date on this car is 12-18-73. I have the original factory buildsheet for the car and the original fender tag, dash vin tag and door vin decal are all in excellent shape! I also have documented photos of the Cuda when it was being restored! The mileage may be original at 76k as I was told by the previous owner and on the PA title, but I don’t have anything else to document it. PAINT, BODY AND FRAME The super high-gloss deep clear coat shine was professionally wet sanded with 1200 and 1500 grit paper to achieve a high caliber ultra finish. The body is very straight and has excellent panel fit. The paint is absolutely beautiful and only has a few very,very minor flaws. The body is in excellent shape and has newly installed quarters, fenders, trunk extensions and outer wheel well housings. The trunk floor, floor boards and frame are original and in great shape. The inside of the doors, trunk, hood and jams are as nice as the exterior of the car. The frame is in excellent shape and the undercarriage is also very clean and neat. GLASS, CHROME AND TRIM The glass is in very good condition. The front windshield is brand new and there are only a few small minor scratches on the side glass and rear window. All windows operate and line-up perfectly. The bumpers are body color and look great. The trim is clean and was polished for optimum shine. The front grill was restored, painted and looks excellent! INTERIOR The interior was completely re-done top to bottom including headliner, sail panels, carpet, restored door panels, package tray, trunk divider and new front seat covers from Legendary Auto Interiors. All gauges work and operate correctly. All lighting works as should including the high/low beams, dome light, reverse lights, tail lights, parking lights, turn signals, four way flashers and license plate light. The original dash pad could use a new dash cap or a new one. It has 4 different small cracks. They are not that bad, but to be perfect I would have it fixed. Please look close at some of the interior photo's as you can see them near the ends of the dash pad and just above the steering wheel. The rear seat I believe is original and only has one seam just starting to split, but is hard to notice. DRIVE TRAIN The strong running original numbers matching 318 makes excellent power and runs great. I believe the 318 was rebuilt sometime ago and had a mild cam installed and minor head work done. It is topped off with a Holley intake and Holley 4-barrel street avenger 670cfm carb with electric choke. The casting date is 11-28-73 making it a 1974 motor. The rebuilt 904 transmission is still the original numbers matching to the car and shifts beautifully through all gears. I verified the I.D. badge stampings on the motor and trans. and they are 100% numbers matching. The 8 ¾ rear end has 3.23 gears(none posi). The Cuda has excellent drivability and cools well even in stop and go traffic. This excellent drive train combo runs and drives awesome in all conditions whether highway or city driving. The new 2 1/2" dual exhaust is very impressive, it sounds excellent and looks awesome underneath. All the seams are welded with no cheap clamps! It is the best sounding 318 that I've ever owned.
