Very clean 1984 BMW 628csi that has been garaged kept throughout its life. It has 2.8L straight 6cyl with a 5-spd manual transmission and a current mileage reading of 115,429 miles. Original paint is in very good condition except for very minor scratches, i.e. front lower spoiler. Original interior upholstery is in good condition with no tears or holes except for minor fading. It has never been involved in an accident, but has a small dent on the chrome rear bumper behind the rubber just above the muffler. The right sideview mirror glass also has minor scratches and does not retract since it has been glued in place. Mechanically the car drives very well and I use it as my weekend car. No major issues except a little play on the steering wheel. All electrical components and gauges work except for the oil service/inspection warning light and the windshield washer does not work. The front hood lift shock supports need to be replaced. Most of the sockets and small tools from the trunk compartment are missing. Radio and speakers are aftermarket. I only have one ignition/door key for the vehicle. Within the past couple of years, other than regular maintenance, I have had the transmission rebuilt and the mass air flow sensor replaced. This car was brought over from Europe and, therefore, most of the instrument panel readings are in German to include the owner’s manual. It meets all U.S. standards and it is currently registered in California until Dec 2012. Bidders may inspect the vehicle during bidding process if desired.
