Selling my 1971 volkswagen superbeetle. This car was purchased from Southern California and is rust free. I just had the engine rebuilt. All parts were replaced except for the case and has had only 1,000 miles put on since then. A stiffer spring was put on the oil pressure release valve which increased the oil pressure to 60 PSI and a spin-on oil filter was added for longer engine life. Exhaust was upgraded to a larger, higher flow system which gives it a great sound, and a larger cylinder size was used so it is now 1641CC, increasing power. It has Empi aftermarket guages--tachometer and volt meter. The interior has been redone with new carpet, seats, sun visors, and window cranks. Headliner is in good condition. Fresh oil change, new brakes. Overall, a very nice little car. Paint is good but not perfect. There are a few very small chips and scuffs in the paint but nothing major or very noticeable and a small ripple in the body metal on the passenger door. Good solid body and mechanically sound.
