Guess what... two young children don't fit in a roadster very well. I bought this roadster with a fried motor and have enjoyed working on it and driving it once in awhile but it's time for somebody else to have fun with it. The motor is rebuilt. New pistons.020 over Rods and crank balanced All new bearings New timing chain New oil pump New bolts Head was cleaned up (lightly ported) New valve springs B cam Flywheel lightened Electronic ignition distributor w/msd coil always starts up Old style mikuni transmission rebuilt w/new bearings and 5th gear fixed correctly Volvo brake calipers w/braided steel lines The car was painted in 2004 but some parts need work. I would probably paint the hood over because of some paint starting to peel and a possible rust spot. Some of the chrome is great like the body rails but other things like the bumpers need work. Interior has new carpet and seats but a lot of little things don't work like dash lights and radio. I have a soft top that looks to be in good shape but was never mounted, I'm not sure if it fits over roll bar. The car was parked under a cover all winter and driven only summer. The motor/transmission work was done in 03-04 and driven max 100 miles a year since (two boys). New tires but one seems to have a small leak. Windshield is cracked. The carbs could use some adjusting. This car has lots of great stuff and always starts right up but I don't have the time anymore to tinker with it and fix all the little things that need attention. On Jun-08-12 at 16:57:00 PDT, seller added the following information: Hi, I took the car out to wash it and it started right up. I've added some photos to show the bad stuff I could find on the exterior. The top and frame seem to be in good condition but not 100 percent sure if all the parts are complete, I never had it on the car. Yes the car has some rust... the bad stuff was cut out and new metal was welded in before it was painted. Some of the dash/heater control knobs/pulls don't work. no radio. Motor has an oil cooler w/braided steel lines Nissan comp springs I drove it today for the first time and I forgot how zippy it is. the motor takes a second then it pulls strong! Not a show car but sure is fun to drive.
