Vehicle Detail

Relisting due to inexperienced eBayer not understanding what "Buy It Now" means... Chrome bumpers, Wire Wheels, & a four speed overdrive transmission. Always gets a lot comments when I take it out. Very reliable basic runner that always starts and doesn't overheat or burn oil. Many recent repairs and improvements including exterior light covers, heater valve, clutch slave cyl, tires, some interior trim items, aftermarket retractable seat belts, oil pressure sender, t-stat, Mallory Unilite Distributor, plug wires, basic carb rebuild and many others. Engine runs well and original '69 OD transmission shifts smoothly, but can be a bit tough going into second gear when cold, but doesn't grind. No problems with the overdrive, which helps out a lot at highway speeds. Exterior paint (Mineral Blue I think) is dull with quite a few dings and small dents. Chrome is quite pitted in places. There is surprisingly little rust for a car that spent nearly 40 years in New England. 3 of 4 wheel arches have had some rust repair in the past, but appear rust free now. Other than that, there are just a couple of 1/4"-1/2" rust bubbles around the hatch window. Interior is fair but shows signs of wear. The seats are the one year only '69 seats with a black fabric cover. Passenger seat has a tear on the side. Rear "seat" is vinyl. Door skins are a bit tatty as are the carpets. Headliner is decent. Dash has a large crack, but the dash cover looks pretty nice. Aftermarket wood steering wheel. I do not have the original. '75 era head ( CAM1106 AF3H D 19 293) on 73-74 block (18V672Z-L14067) breathing through orig '69 carbs (HS4-AUD326). Downsides are leaks oil from engine area (MGs do like to leak), carb throttle shafts need to be repaired. Heater controls, interior light, and radio are not working. Wheels may need a balance as there is a shimmy above about 65MPH. Windshield has a bowl shaped hole where an aftermarket mirror was once installed. Hood support is missing. A multitude of spares including 5 extra wire wheels with tires, various gaskets, hoses and bushings, seats from 70-72 era car, 72-74 era distributor (needs rebuild), orig seat belts (rough), and many more. Clear California title. Feel free to ask any questions or come down and have a test drive.
