I am selling a 1989 Buick Electra Park Avenue. Everything is in working order. It has a valid NJ inspection sticker through January 2014. If this is purchased by a NJ resident, it will be eligible for NJ Historic status in 2014, which means it will no longer have to go to inspection. The car is well kept. The GM 3.8 L v6 engine is built to last. These motors will go on to 300,000+ miles when taken care of. I have changed the oil every 3 months and routinely serviced it. This includes changing filters (oil, fuel, air, and transmission) as well as fluids (transmission, oil, and coolant) on a regular basis. I just recently put a new set of tires on the car a few weeks ago. Also, a new vinyl top was put on about two years ago. I would like to mention one thing. The check engine light is on for a bad timing chain sensor. It is a code 42. My local mechanic says it is not in need of a timing chain yet. When it is time to replace the timing chain, it should then be replaced. There are a couple tears in the leather in the driver's seat. You are more than welcome to have a mechanic come look at it if you wish. However, this car is being sold AS-IS. If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message.
