This 1957 220 S is a nice little restoration candidate. It has its factory 2.2 litre 6 cylinder (with twin carbs), and 4 speed manual transmission. This car has been sitting since 1990, when it was last registered and licensed in Oklahoma. I was told that it was running when it was parked. The previous owner did some minor disassembly, as he was starting a restoration. This basicaly included taking the gauges out, the door trim and interior panels out, and dash trim pieces out (these are all present and come with car). The wood trim for the inside needs sanded and refinished, but is in nice shape. Aside from surface rust, which is visible in the pics, and will sand off easily (it is not deep at all), the only rust through spots I can find are the front left floor pan, which are about three holes smaller than dimes and could be repaired without floor replacement. There are tons of spare parts that the prior owner collected that come with it, extra starters, gasket set, carburetor kits, gauges, door latches, extra chrome, door handles, a full wiring harness, fog lamp, timing chain, just too many to list and some I could not identify. I took pics of the spare parts and took a lot of pics that I could not post on this listing that has a limit of 24.
