Vehicle Detail
2003 Red Ferrari 360 F1 Spider Loaded & In Pristine Condition! General Description You are looking at a 2003 Ferrari 360 F1 Spider in Rossa Corsa red with a tan interior that was bought new in 2003 at Ferrari of San Diego. I don’t think you will find a cleaner and more pristine 360 anywhere and it’s a 2003! 2003-2005 Spiders are the most in demand because all the kinks from the earlier models were addressed by 2003 and the F1 transmission was greatly improved with the 2003 model. To boot, this car comes in the most coveted combination of colors and options possible, including must have "real and original" OEM factory installed shields and Tubi Exhaust, which sounds like a formula-one race car; gorgeous 2-piece modular wheels, the classic cherished Daytona Seats, and F1 Paddle transmission, as well as hard to find yet highly desired options of beautiful Carbonio carbon air-boxes (I have the originals for you as well), a yellow tachometer dial, red brake calipers, a battery tender, custom color combinations on the seats and roll bars, front challenge grille, and an amazing sounding air horn, the way any Ferrari horn should sound. I also have all manuals and extras that originally came with the car. New, this car was worth over $232,000 out the door by the time you included all the options, paid gas guzzler, luxury and other taxes and registration. On top of everything, I will include the California Coastal Commission vanity plates. A Modern Classic.. This is the second Ferrari I have owned and has become one of the most popular late models that gets more beautiful with age and more in demand to boot. I have a stable of amazing cars, but nothing comes close to the excitement of a Ferrari. When you drive this car top down on a summer day, you will make more friends and get more thumbs up from kids and adults alike than you can imagine. When you need it to go fast, its 400 horses on a 3k-ish pound car will deliver classic Ferrari thrill. I have never driven it in the rain or taken it on a track. It is garaged daily, but does not collect dust and is properly exercised once per week and on weekends, weather permitting, with just over 20k miles now. I have it serviced every year by an authorized Ferrari tech at Symbolic Motors in San Diego. I have all service records since I bought it. The last belt service was done about 3,500 miles ago in 2009. In 2011 it got new brake pads and roters. The car is spotless on the outside, like a showroom new Ferrari. The front bumper has the usual road speckles from dust and pebbles etc and along the bottom of the panel under the driver side door is a small tear of the clear-bra. It has no dents or dings. The wheels have some curb rash here and there. The engine compartment is pristine clean, just like on the day it was delivered new. The interior is in excellent condition, with some minor ware and tear on the driver’s seat and yes, the infamous Ferrari sticky buttons. Everything is functional and the top is opened and closed a few times per week so properly primed. I baby this car and wipe it every time I drive it with a microfiber cloth and it only gets canola wax. Bid with Confidence The good news for you is that I have sold a number of my high end cars and motorcycles (over a dozen vehicles now) on eBay over the past 12 years to very satisfied buyers. Just check my feedback. For some of the older sales, they won’t show up as buyer feedback, but you can find them in general feedback. The biggest complements I get from buyers is the condition of my cars. I am OCD about keeping cars pristine, so you benefit from that. DISCLAIMER THIS CAR IS SOLD "AS IS" AND "WHERE IS." I MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES EITHER EXPLICITLY OR IMPLIED AT LAW OR OTHERWISE INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR ANY PURPOSE. WHILE I DISCLOSED ALL DAMAGE AND FAULTS THAT I AM AWARE OF, I MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS THAT SUCH DISCLOSURE CONSTITUTES ALL DAMAGE OR FAULTS. ALL BUYERS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO VIEW AND INSPECT THE CAR OR HAVE IT INSPECTED BY A CERTIFIED DEALER IN THE SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA AREA. YOU ARE ALSO FREE TO REVIEW ALL MY SERVICE RECORDS WHEN YOU COME TO VIEW THE CAR. Conditions of Sale As I have bought and sold a few cars on eBay, you can imagine I have figured out what works and what does not. Your bid constitutes a legally binding contract to buy this car at the ending price. If you back out of the sale, you will forfeit your deposit. I reserve the right to refund your deposit (less any fees to re-list the car) if you back out, but the car sells to another buyer. I also reserve the right to take legal action in civil court to seek specific performance or money damages if you fail to complete the transaction. So please bid if you intend to follow through. IF YOU HAVE A NEGATIVE RATING, PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THIS CAR. I WILL IMMEDIATELY REMOVE ALL BIDS FROM BIDDERS WITH A NEGATIVE RATING AND RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REMOVE BIDS FROM BIDDERS WITH A RATING OF 0. If you have a "0" rating, and no negative feedback, I suggest you contact me before bidding so I can confirm your identity with eBay customer support. I will report any bidders with negative ratings who continue to bid to eBay customer service and will take legal action against any "break-up" bidders who intend to disrupt my auction. I am a corporate lawyer who loves to play Perry Mason in his spare time and I have gotten good at it. Deposit and Payment In Full A deposit will be due by wire transfer, cashier’s check, PayPal or money order within 2 business days of end of auction. If your deposit is not received by that time, your failure to remit the deposit will be deemed breach of contract and I will re-list the car and reserve the right to sue for damages. The balance will be due in full by wire transfer, money order, or cashiers check (NOT PayPal) written directly to me and received within 5 business days of receipt of the deposit. This car is subject to a bank lien. I will not release possession of the car to the buyer until the bank confirms receipt and clearance of the funds and until AFTER the lien holder confirms receipt and clearance of the funds to pay off the loan. The lien holder will then forward the pink slip to me, and I can sign it over to you and mail it to you certified mail. This can take as long as 30 days, but in the past I have been able to get the pink slip directly from the bank in one day, so you never know. I will not permit the lien holder to send you the pink slip directly so please don’t ask. In some states, you will not be able to register the car if I do not physically sign over the pink slip to you, so it must come to me first. You will, after all, have possession of the car and a sales receipt to prove you own it before you get the pink slip. Shipping Only once have I had to ship a vehicle I have sold on eBay (it was bought sight unseen). If you want it shipped, you have to set it up yourself and it is your responsibility to pay for it. I suggest you contact a shipper to get a quote BEFORE you bid so you don’t get surprised. I will tender the car to a common carrier only after the above conditions are met and only after I get approval from the buyer to tender it to the carrier after they arrive and confirm identity. RISK OF LOSS WILL PASS TO BUYER THE MINUTE I TENDER IT TO A COMMON CARRIER. In fact, risk of loss will pass to the buyer the minute the common carrier even touches the car, heck, even if I see him breathing on it. THANK YOU FOR BIDDING AND GOOD LUCK!
