Vehicle Detail
This jet black 1987 Ferarri Testarossa looks and drives like it just rolled off the showroom floor. The paint is in prime condition and the aluminum chassis still races on its original wheels. This is the real deal. Classic 12 Cylinder Ferrari engine that purrs like the day it was built. The pop-up headlights send you back to the golden age of classic supercars. The soft interior lighting really makes the rich italian leather inviting on an evening drive. The signature body styling and sharp vents and lines are indicative of a Pininfarina design. With only 36K miles, this deal is too good to pass up. This car is guaranteed to increase in value, as it is already 25 years old. Buy NOW and make the Joneses keep up with you. ( From the editor: I would not say showroom floor, or aluminum chassis, since the frame and roof are all metal from Marenello Italy. However, this is as nice an example as I have seen. Engine sounds are beyond description, with no issues. Strong 12 cyl pulls through all gears with ease and no issues. Good brakes and steering. No dents or dings, other than normal lower front spoiler needing repaint every so often since it is so low. Fires right up, as it has new plugs, new clutch, new timing belt, gaskets and good tires. The lines and gaps on the body panels are all correct and proportional. Everything snaps and closes as designed. I remember being in Marenello, when the Testarossa was first being tested in the 80's. I was buying some parts for my Ferarri Boxer when this car pulled up outside that looked like it had been painted red, then painted black with no sanding, and then taken to a car wash and sprayed to look half red and half black peeling. I recognized that the car was identical in platform to the Boxer I was getting parts for, but had a bunch of fins attached to the side. I figured they put kits on Boxers, like we put kits on Corvettes. When I got back to the states in a few weeks I saw that car on the cover of "Road and Track", half red half black, headline "Stolen Photos of new Testarossa" It turned out that the car I had seen was simply the new Testarossa. So in fact, the Testarossa is very similar to the Ferrari 512 and 365 Boxers. Correct VIN ZFFSG17AXH0073673 will not enter in ebay boiler plate like many other low production early exotics. Have clean clear title in hand. We take no trades of any sort. Cash on the barrel head or bank wire in 72 hours. Inspections invited prior to bidding, or contact inspectmyride.com prior to bidding for inspection. There is no bidding and then coming to see if you want it later. That is completely unfair to the authentic bidders, bidding to win the car. It is also not legal, as the winning bidder is obligated to pay regardless. So do not bid unless you have cash on hand ready to pay. We can have car delivered to you by posting on truckstop.com, but buyer pays all shipping. All items sold as is where is with no warranty. I have no other photos, but inspectmyride.com can take additional photos. If you want additional photos contact inspectmyride.com. There are no books or tools or records or anything like that. Only the car, the title, and the key are for sale.
