These cars are rare as Nissan only produced 2700 of them during the Z32 production period. The convertible was only offered from 1993 to 1996 with the 1995 and 1996 having a matching front bumper, upgraded fuel injectors and a better seat belt system. In 1995 there were only 9 made with the black and tan split interior. The car still has the original OEM exhaust and transmission! Not one spot of rust anywhere…very rare! The entire interior has been restored to the original factory design. All the suede door and console panels have been recovered in durable tan suede. The seats have been recovered in 8mm tan leather with professional OEM-matched stitching patterns; even the carpet and sound fabric are new to factory spec. There have been many parts replaced with OEM Genuine Nissan Parts from Courtesy Nissan and Concept Z Performance. The entire body has been repainted to match the original color. (this was only done to fix two small door dings and fix the convertible top cover that has a tendency to dent easily) The convertible top was replaced with a German Sonnenland Canvas top with the OEM three window design. The German Canvas top is the highest quality top used for high end restoration jobs and is much more durable than the factory canvas - the canvas cleaning kit and horse hair brush are included. All new OEM weather-stripping, steel tension cables and retainer springs were installed during the restoration, as well. Air tight and quiet at highway speed! New suspension was installed in April before the car was brought to CA. KYB shocks and TEIN springs were used because they are a good match and provide a good solid handling profile without being too aggressive for daily driving. All four control arms were replaced with AMS adjustable arms and AMS tension rods for perfect alignment. There are 4 new Yokahoma S-Type tires with under 4000 miles on them along with new EBC Green Stuff brake pads for stopping power. The front brake calipers and rotors are brand new, as well. The car is as close to original as possible. The only modifications outside of factory are the HID Xenon headlights, which is only the bulb and ballast system utilizing the OEM projector headlights and the Alpine Touch Screen Navigation Entertainment system. The center console has been modified to allow for the screen to look factory. The speakers are in the factory locations and two tweeters are installed on the inner A pillars for sound clarity with the top lowered. Nothing on the interior is chopped or messed with – looks and feels like it came off a dealer floor. This is one very rare and special car. Great care has been taken during the restoration process. Although the car is located in California it was originally a garage-stored South Carolina car. The Z has never seen snow or salt and has been garaged for its entire life.
