Vehicle Detail
Hello, thank you for taking the time to check out my auction. Up for sale is a 1951 Ford 4 door sedan deluxe. I have owned the car for a couple of years now and it is pretty much the same today as when a got it a couple of years ago. Had big plans of doing something with it someday but since I have had it a couple of years now and done nothing with it . It is time for it to move on. I 'm sure there are some of you out there that a silmar thing has happened to before LOL. The car has an inline 6 cylinder engine in it and a 3 speed no over drive manual transmission. The car does not let me repeat myself DOES NOT RUN!!!!!!!!!! You will need to tow the car away or haul it home on a trailer. The car has been sitting for at least 10 years in some one else's garage before it sat around in mine for another couple of years. The motor is currently stuck and doen't turn over. It may free up but I make no promises on that. Also the brakes don't seem to be working at the time being either. The emergency brake does work. This is a car that has lived it's whole life in the midwest in the state of wisconsin. So there is some rust but considering the age of the car it's really not that bad. I bought it in superior wi. This car has 54,663 orginal miles on it and a title. I believe the miles are correct and that they are orginal do to the outstanding condition of the interior and the car was owned by an 86 year old lady. The body still has paint on it. Not show quaility and for all I know it may have been painted at some time. I'm not a body man nor do I pretend to be. It is missing most of the front grill pieces but I do have the front bumper and lower front bumper pan. Most of the chrome and trim pieces are still there but do have light surface rust and pitting on them. there is a couple of holes on the floor pan (please see photos) but does seem to be soild for the most part. It has a piece broken off the left rear tail light. It has a dent in the left rear quarter. It has a dent on the roof at the very far left front corner pretty much right above the driver door area. The car has some srcatches on the paint here and there. The front window on the drivers side does have a rock chip on it. The rest of the glass is all there. The car has no battery in it and is missing the battery cable from the positive post to the selinoid. My be more missing but looks really really complete. It is still a six volt system car as far as I can tell. I'm doing my very best to describe anything and everything I can see that is wrong with this car but I may have missed something that a trained eye maybe could see. I'm no expert on this old of a car. Now on to the good parts The interior in my opion is really something to see the headlinder is up and good, the seats are really nice no tears or rips. All the doors open and close very well. windows roll up and down, doors lock and unlock. I have the orginal keys that are in a very cool leather case with the dealerships name on it that the car was sold at in 1951. Everything is there on the dash very complete. I'm including everything you see in the trunk of the car as well . looks like a coupple of radios for this era of car I have no idea if they work or not. If you have questions please feel free to call me on my cell any time at 612-570-2279 This is a no reserve auction so bid to win and bid today so you don't miss out. Please only bid if you re a serious buyer and have the cash in hand to purchase the car when the auction ends. I have no time for games or B.S. It costs a lot of money to list a car on here and to have someone bid it up and never pay for it is not cool. I require a paypal deposit of $500.00 within 24 hours of the auctions end and full balance to be paid with 7 days of the end of the auction.
