Vehicle Detail
This is my son's daily driver and he loves it, but his minimum wage job just doesn't support his gas habit. I'd drive this car anywhere without hesitation. This is a southern car bought new in Florida. Went to Texas and came back to Florida until we found it in 2007. Surface rust treated with POR and a few typical bad spots the metal removed, replaced. Some surface rust popped up over the winter on the interior. Currently in primer waiting for the weather to improve here for final prep before paint. Amateur driver floor repair - otherwise solid all around. Have all trim, extra trim, bumpers, new rubber all around. Some not installed waiting for paint. Originally a 318 car. 400 Motor out of a 74 Charger rebuilt by previous owner - mileage unknown, but runs great, no smoke, leaks, etc. Edelbrock 650. A/C not connected. No issues in the engine bay. New alternator, starter, battery, coil, ballast, tune up, etc. New front end parts. Wanted it reliable for the kid. Rebuilt 727 with about 2,000 miles on it. Tires have about 3,000 on them. New disk brake conversion on front, new rear cylinders, drums, shoes, lines, bearings, master cylinder. New tank, lines, sending unit. New heavy duty shocks, exhaust. All glass is good. New safety glass windshield installed. Restored gauge cluster by the Gauge Doctor. Current after market engine temp and tach still connected. The cluster works great. Current bezel cut for aftermarket stereo but have another un cut bezel. Original driver's electric seat works. Original seats removed for late model Bonneville seats to have three point seat belts. Car needs paint, carpet and upholstery. Headlight motors are slow, so they're disconnected. Don't expect to get what we have in it, just enough for something economical. College is a year off so he's decided to part with it. I'm sure I've forgotten something so shoot me any questions.
