Vehicle Detail
1934 Ford Convertible First, the "Fine Print"... Please read everything written in this auction's description about this vehicle before asking questions. Asking questions that are already clearly addressed within this auction's description will show that you are not a serious customer. Serious customers are welcome to speak to me over the phone, just send me an e-mail for contact number. This vehicle is for sale, no trades, do not ask. I have not listed a "Buy It Now" to avoid scammers. I am scam proof. This vehicle will be paid for, cash in my hands, before it is released. This means the possibility of up to 10 business days or more to make sure that payment has cleared. You will need to keep this in mind when you arrange for shipping. I am available to help load this vehicle, but all shipping arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer. I will accept cash or bank wire transfer for payment. Paypal will be allowed only for the $500.00 deposit due at the time of the auction's end. This vehicle is sold as is, where is and it has no warranty. It will be sold with a bill of sale, which may be notarized if the buyer wishes. I will also include the last state of Maine registration slip, which is in my name. There is NO TITLE, as the state of Maine does not issue titles on these older vehicles. The registration slip does have a transfer of ownership section on the back which may also be filled out and notarized if necessary. The club plaque shown on the rear of the vehicle is not included. If you want to see more photos send an e-mail and I will give you my Photobucket link. This unique Hot Rod project is ready for you to finish to your tastes. It has had quite a bit of work and engineering put into it, and it will be a very cool, one of a kind piece once it is completed. You may not see another one like it when you pull into the cruise night or car show. There is still quite a bit of work to do depending on your vision. An old school Hot Rod or Rat Rod will obviously take less time than completeing the car as a polished, shiney paint show car. Right now it is solidly mocked up as a roller to give the buyer an idea of what the car will look like when finished, and also to give an idea as to how complete it is. It rolls very easily. This car started as a Henry Ford steel 1934 Ford coupe. It has had it's roof removed and the windshield frame is custom fabricated from 1940 Ford woody and convertible pieces. The newly chromed windshield garnish mouldings are included. The coupe doors were cut down nicely finished and have newly chromed garnish mouldings. They open "suicide" and have remote deadbolts for safety. They open and close nicely. Bear claw latches. The doors have power windows. The body / frame is channeled 1" in front and 6" in the rear. The body sits level at ride height. The trunk lid is fiberglass and it has a remote release. The trunk lid handle is a 1938 Ford with a third brake light built in. The narrowed grille shell is from a 1937 Ford pickup truck and it has a new chrome 1941 Ford "Super Deluxe" emblem. The hood sides are 1935 ford pickup, and the hood top is a combination of 1935 and 1936 Ford pickup pieces. The new top is custom fabricated of vinyl to fit this vehicle. The frame is an original 1934 with visible numbers matching my Maine registration. The frame has been been boxed. It has Pinto / Mustang II front suspension with manual rack and pinion steering and power disc brakes. The rear axle is a Ford 9", 3:50 to 1 gear ratio, from a 1971 Torino. Posies parrallel rear leaf spring kit. The engine is a 1970 Ford 302 / 210 hp with a C-4 automatic transmission. Although the engine did run it had some blow by, so you must assume that the engine and tranny will need rebuilding. They have only been installed for mock up so far. A used drive shaft is included, it will need to be shortened. Some of the other features of this vehicle are... Front spreader bar is a Harley Davidson motorcycle handle bar. Rear spreader bar is made from a 1936 Studebaker grille guard. Front fenders are made from 1949 ford woody spare tire cover. Headlights are 1941 Ford commercial units with the mounts made from a Model A headlight bar. Vintage Guide back up light. 1957 Ford hubcaps. 1950 Ford dashboard, narrowed to fit. 1951 Plymouth heater control panel. 1947 Ford tailights. New Modine radiator. Electric fan. 1934 Ford horns have been converted to blinker / park lights. Battery tray slides forward and back to make battery access easier. New front rotors. Aluminum Mickey thompson valve covers. Custom fabricated new exhaust system ready to install. New front calipers and pads. Brake lines and fuel lines are new and run, they just need to be hooked up. Rear drums have been turned. New rear brake shoes. 1940 Ford steering wheel with Speedway removeable hub. Patterns for windhield and side glass. Front tires are p185/75 radial 14, good tread. Rear tires are p225/75 radial 14, good tread. Wheels are steel 14 inch salvage yard rollers. Powered by eBay Turbo ListerThe free listing tool.
