This is the SVT Cobra package on the 2001 Mustang! A rare find. I bought this car back in November when my wife and I split up. Now we’re getting back together again and only need one car. I really dig this car, but we can't keep both... When I bought it, I knew it needed some updates here and there. The engine and convertible top checked out great - just little things had to be updated & fixed to "make it right"... What we did: Tune up with platinum plugsOil change / lube job throughout New oil filter, new fuel filter New Interstate batteryNew 3rd brake light (LED)New aluminum gas doorNew serpentine beltNew emergency brake line - right rear New trunk hydrolicsNew steering flangeNew air cleaner boxTwo brand new SVT Cobra Chrome Wheels with brand new 275/40/17 tires on the right & left rearFrame check - no frame damage/repair anywhere underneath. Front bumper has been replaced.Brake check - no problems. It has all new drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic pads on all four wheels. So, obviously I put a lot of time & money into it to get all that done. The only things that are tbd, things I would do if I kept it: The front wheels - they are nicked up pretty bad esp. when compared to the brand new back wheels. The tires are fine though. There's also an issue with one of the ABS sensors - we can't figure out exactly which one though although he thinks it's the rear left. The failing sensor needs to be located and fixed/replaced. That will take some doing. The "ABS" light is on, there's just no way to turn it off until you isolate which sensor is faulty - and that takes some time apparently. The "check engine" light is not on.The alignment pulls a little to the left - I might fix this myself in the next week or so The paint job was done before I got it, and the mechanic commented that it was a good quality job - minor issues here and there, you have to be really up close to see any imperfections. Please note that this car is really loud! You can really feel & hear it when the engine revs. It has a 4.6L DOHC 32V V 8 Engine, with 320 horsepower, and 317 lb-ft torque.The convertible top is in pristine condition! No marks/tears/problems. A/C is ice cold, interior is in really good shape. Has driver and passenger seat covers. Drives really nice, is super fast and very loud. The sport bucket seats are really comfortable. Have the title in-hand, free and clear. Non-smoking throughout its history. This car is in excellent condition and looks/drives great. It IS Fast, and it is Loud, and it does turn heads when you drive down the street!
