1938 Nash Ambassador Six, 4 Door Sedan, Blue with Tan Interior. This is an original car, re-painted original color, fresh interior , headliner, dashboard, gauges , even original spare tire ! This car runs and drives as well as it looks, yes you can drive it now and finsish the restoration as you go. Ironically, my Dad bought this car in it's present condition from an estate sale in Arizona. I remember the story, the guys dad had started a complete restoration on a 38,000 mile car 40 years earlier, but soon after finishing the car he passed away. It appears he did a repaint, new seals and gaskets, not a frame off, it did not need it. The condition of the car , in particular the seats, dash and headliner show little to no wear and are in deed original. Mohair interior, look at the wood on the dash and doors, like day one. All the chrome on the dash , knobs and buttons are all in place and original. This car was in the garage for 40 plus years. I see an oil change sticker from 1957 showing 37,000 miles, when you see the detailed pictures you would agree this is a very low mileage car. Plenty of paperwork from manuals to reciepts, nothing to certify mileage, but you be the judge. Arizona car since new and then to California when my Dad bought it. The engine compartment appears original, even has cloth wiring and check out the size of the horns! The trunk still has original press board liner, factory jack and factory spare tire. The frame and underbody are spotless, no rust , patch work or paint to cover flaws, even the original exhaust system has no rust or holes. Fresh tires, hoses and belts, running boards, check them out, like new! This is a big bad ganster looking car that is all original, every piece of chrome, badges and emblems are in place.
