The exterior paint is very nice and shiny with only a few blemishes: There is scuff on the lower front passenger side bumper. There is a scuff on the rear bumper passenger side. There is a small scuff on the rear bumper drivers side. There is a scratch on the drivers side door that goes back to the rear quarter panel and there is minor pitting on the rear bumper. The interior is in great condition for its age. There is the usual wear on the driver side seat bolsters and a small chunk on the leather on the bottom portion of the drivers seat (see photos). We can have the driver side seat bolster repaired for $150. There are no unusual smells or odors inside the car. Its a non smoker vehicle. The A/C blows ice cold. There are no warning lights or service lights indicating. Everything works! The top releases properly and the soft top opens and closes perfectly. The soft top is in excellent condition and the plastic window is clear without any discoloration or fading. This SL drives like a dream. It tracks down the road perfectly straight and does not pull to either side. The engine starts up everytime and the transmission shifts very smoothly. Overall this is a very nice SL500 that has been well taken care. We have fully inspected this car and everything is in good working order. All the services are up to date and newer tires were just installed recently. This Carfax report shows this SL500 has had two previous owners and there are no previous accidents.
