Vehicle Detail

Thank You for looking at my 77 SKYBIRD,with T-Tops all original #s matching 350 motor, transmission :) Very Rare Skybirds were a special limited edition Firebird Esprit , featureing two tone sky blue paint "Lombard Blue". And color cordinated Snowflake wheels with the two tone Blue velour interior. Acording to Yahoo and Pontiac Motor division 1 800 762-2737, the production numbers were very low , 155,736 firebirds were produced in 1977, out of them were 34,548 Esprits and then out of that only 5,692 Skybirds were made , If this is correct they were very few made in 1977, and only the begining of 1978 skybirds were made. OK, about the history of my car , I purchased this car from the original owners family in Riverside CA. and I had it shipped to GA , Where I have kept it in the Garage since then. It does not get rained on . I drive it to Augusta GA once a month for my back doctor check ups , aprox 160 miles per trip, and we take it up town on sundays with the t-tops out , It still turns heads and the ORIGINAL PAINT still is very presentable and still turns heads ! I had back surgery in 2010 and had no medical insurance , This car has to be sacrificed cheap and sold as soon as posible , they are trying to collect hospital bills now.I never planned on selling this beutiful automoble , there arent many left all original and un molested like this . It had 83K miles on it when I purchased it in may of 2006 .Since then I have spent a lot of money on it getting it updated. We have replaced all of the brakes , wheel cylinders and master cylinder. All of the rubbers ,like the belts , hoses , complete tune up , replaced the intake gasget and rebuilt the carburator with the original matching #s on it, new fuel pump and updated the AC to R134a ,The fan motor was replaced original AC delco made in canada. We changed all of the dash lamps to make it nice and bright . All 4 new goodyear tires last nov ,2011 with road hazard wauranty ,walmart $440.00 , everything replaced with gm or quality replacement brands , All guages and lights work with the exception of the clock . NO CHINA PARTS The motor is the original #s matching 350 olds with CA emisions all good , the Transmision is also the correct serial # and was rebuilt prior to me buying the car , It runs and shifts very Good , I have kept the oil changed in it about every three months being it doesnt get many miles put on it , when we had the intake off It was clean under it in the motor , I was kinda surprised , The motor cranks very easy (the choke works properly) and runs and drives good with the steering wheel being exactly centered and doesnt have any pulling . The interior is also all original but needs recovering , The rears seats still look good but the front I have seat covers on them The carpet was replaced in 2009 with GM resto ACC carpet and is the original color. the dash has two litle bad spots (see the pictures) The Pioneer Cd player sounds good with the 2 6x9 speakers in the rear deck , it was in the car when i got it , and has a detachable front face . The T-TOPS are Cars and Concepts dealer installed option tops , Skybirds did not come from the factory with Ttops , They are a quite bit larger than the orig GM tops , I like them a lot better , when they are in The glass goes all the way across the top . The windshield does have a crack on the pass side , It has been like that a long time before i got it . The Exterior is about 90 % original GM paint , with the exception of 4 areas , the drivers side of the hood , a small area on the top of the drivers door , a small area on the passengers side fender , and the roof above the windsheild , It looks like they scratched it putting the tops in when it was new and now the lacquer paint touch up paint has reacted with the factory enamel and cracked up . There is a dent in the lower part of the passengers door about 14" long , compliments of the shipping guys in 2006 with no insurance also . I painted the rear bumper last year because we were going to a car show and the rear bumper paint had got real thin on the neopreme bumper, it was discolored badly, the Lombard Blue code 24 matched perfect. and I also repainted the front grills original too, nice! Overall It is still very shiny and presentable , I keep it waxed with hard shell turtle wax, gosh what a job to do with a hurting lower back . The only rust is a spot about 4 " long rite under the back glass on the right side , somebody put some silcone on it before i got the car and i havent never touch it , it hasnt gotten any worst niether , There is no rust under the trunk hinges where all of these cars rust , the trunk carpet is all original and the Jack and spare tire is The original FR78-15 and looks like new. Thats cool to see :) I have done the Pontiac Historic Society Documentation for it and I have a copy of the ORIGINAL WINDOW STICKER INVOICE and the Pontiac order forms and specifecations Please look at all of the picture closely I tried to get all of the flaw details up closely , Nothing is hidden and It is a good straight body Would really be awsome comepletly restore especially because there is NO BONDO at all , never wrecked and very litle rust I have over 7K dollars invested , I tried to replace everything did with quality parts and keep it all GM .PLEASE CONTACT ME , cell 478-494- 5176 , my TV shop # 478-237-5176 , We are located in Swainsboro , GA , 30401 , Shipping is the buyers resonsibility , I will deliver the car FREE up to 200 miles from here to help anybody I can with the purchase , Bid with confidence as to YOU will not be disapointed , I tried to describe all of the defects as honest and sinscerly as i possibly can. A $500 deposit through Paypal is required within 48 hours of auction ending and the balance within 7 days cash or cashiers check. I strongly suggest and welcome personal inspection of the car , I will be in Augusta GA with the car on MAY 6 with another doctors appointment if you want to fly in or come see the car in person , The Car is sold AS IS with no warrantys expressed or implied . And Local pickup is welcome and i can deliver it to a shipping depot up in Atlanta if needed . I have just noticed that one of the center caps is missing, these are new and just recently put on the car last summer, I am getting it replaced now, thank you :)
