It is time to sell my Catalina which goes by the name Caspurr. My family and I have enjoyed her for 17 years. Last summer we took a 1,000 mile vacation without a problem. In the past we have participated in many parades along with drive-in movies and regular drives in the country. We never fail to turn heads and get comments about other peoples memories of the car their dad had. The condition for this car which you must remember is 43 years old is very good not perfect. Engine runs clean and strong. Over time I have replaced the heads (no lead) ,exhaust system completely,suspension front and rear along with the maintenance items belts, battery, regular tune-ups, etc. Air Conditioning works. The paint is very good with some minor spots here and there. The only rust is behind the rear wheel wells on both sides about 3x3 inches . The interior is very good I had the front seat redone as it was torn. The front seat back is losing some stitching. The convertible top works and has no tears but the stitching is coming out in a few places, there is a boot for the top included. Tires are at least 75% . The spare with the jack is all there and in tact. All the glass is good. There is a cassette player installed below the dash with speakers, the original AM radio is there along with the speaker. NOTHING HAS BEEN MOLESTED. No rust in the trunk .The motor is 400 2bbl . I have a set of rear fender skirts to be installed. This car is so original. This car has been taken care of and always stored inside. I would like to think this car is going to someone who will enjoy it as is, or with a few bucks mint it out. You can get in this car and drive away and do nothing to it unless you want to. A VERY EASY RESTORATION Vehicle is sold as is where is.
