This a restorable vehicle that is complete and runs. I bought this from the original owner after it sat for close to 30 years. It was bought new in Illinois and spent most of it's life here in New Mexico . The paint is faded from setting out in the desert sun which also destroyed all the fabric on the interior. Thre are two spots on each side that had rusted through and the floor panel is rusted through in a few places. The chrome is all there and in good shape. All the glass is there and in good shape. The brakes are shot and need rebuilding. The fuel pump is weak , but I had it running with a gravity can with a line straight to the carb and it run and idled fine. The first time I started the car it smoked a bunch and then stopped smoking. I started it again the next day and it smoked like a train. Now every time I start it,no smoke at all. Something must be going on with the rings. There is an antifreeze leak where the hose connects to the themostate collar. Three of the tires I replaced and are in good shape the fourth has been on the car for 30 years plus and will hold air for about a week.No spare wheel and no radio. The car is all original. The motor is a 6 cyl flat head. The transmission is a Gyromatic, which is also called a semi-automatic.It is a stick shift on the column with a clutch and can be shifted from reverse and forward and then driven like an automatic.When I had it running I drove forward and backward but not up to shifting speed.
