VERY RARE!!!!!!!!!!! 1963 Thunderbird Landau. Total Ford VIN is 41 meaning it was the 41st FORD built that year! Has NO date of manufacture OR DSO code so it was either an executive car or a pre production model. VIN plate is in the 1962 Thunderbird location. T-Bird people have say this is unheard of! I bought this car from the SECOND owner. It has been in Iowa all of its life. Has not been on the road since about 1979 as it sat in a barn most of that time Thunderbird registry # 33072 Exterior color is Caspian Blue (only for t-birds and Lincolns and 1 of less than 300). Interior color is blue and original had leather inserts. Someone redid the seats in white before I aquired it. I found remenants of a Black top, not as common as the white on most models. This car had over $500 in additional options. Radio is missing but it is an AM/FM model with the rear speaker! I totaly dismantled this car when purchased and found it complete except the radio and the camshaft (I lost it in a move) Has 2 sets of fender skirts, all the crome is in great shape and most has been removed to prevent damage, lower rear quarter panels need attention as does the spring mounts (normal in the bullet bird era). any other rust is surface and easily fixed. Brand new headliner never installed. The engine is disasembled but is in good shape(it was siezed from sitting when I got it but everything mics out good). The windshield has a crack in it but the rest of the glass is good, and the dash pad is in rough shape. A couple interior items have been changed and the colors did not match. Power windows work! Power brakes, windshield washers,air, original GOLD breather and valve covers. 2 extra T-bird rims go with it as does a few items I picked up for it as well as the original shop manual and original seat medalions. I did not find the build sheet anywhere on it unfortunatelly as this would shed some light on its build history and who ordered it. I will NOT lower the price! It is a steal as it sits and I will NOT trade for anything so dont ask! It is currently sitting outside and has only been out a couple months, the rest of the time it has been inside a barn. This car DOES NOT run and will have to be hauled, but has easy access! A deposit is required and is NON REFUNDABLE!!!! so make sure you want this if you bid. These items have all been stored so they would not get damaged. The only crome on the car now is the fendertop moulding and the taillight rings.
