I just obtained this car through a trade for for work i performed on a home. My son is only 14 or i would keep it for him. I have driven the car aroud 30 miles and runs nice. Moses nisson of Huntington put it on the rack and looked it over. when we entered the vin it says it has a 2.4 motor. I honestly dont know, im not a car person it appears to have a turbo on it. If anyone can help me out and let me know what motor is in it by looking at the pics. Things i know that are right with the car, its been parked in my driveway and nothing is leaking, starts right up and is a zippy little car, appears to have new brakes and calipars on it, handles fine, good tires, oil changed, cleaned and detailed, things i know thats wrong with it, headlights come up but u have to put them down manually, washer fluid not working, the car appears to be originally red and painted black. With that said i would have no problem keeping it if my son were 16. i dont know what the car is worth, it does have a new cd player in it. The homeowner owed me $2500 so i hope to recover that but ther is no reserve. It's a 2.4 litre engine, no turbo, and single overhead cam. Your car looks to be in good condition and not molested. Blessings to you on selling it. It looks completely stock/original for the years 1989+1990. In 1991 they went to the same size 2.4L but Double overhead Cam 16valve engine. There is no Turbo added on this car. You can tell by the stock intake pipe from the original air cleaner box into the intake manifold of the engine. I have converted my 1990 to a Turbo and it now looks much different.
