Vehicle Detail
I have a 1969 Pontiac Tempest Custom Convertible ( 350 ci engine with TH400 auto trans) - AKA Lemans or GTO. In my opinion one of if not the best body styles of the muscle car era. Here is the deal --- I began restoration on this car several years ago. I purchased the car in running condition. I began a frame off restoration and....just before putting the frame back into a rolling chasis, the project got put on "indefinite hold" for reasons I won't bore you with. This is perfect for anyone restoring a 68 or 69 GTO, Tempest, or Lemans OR if you want to put this one back together. I have ALL of the original parts PLUS MANY, MANY extras. I have NEW OPGI disc brakes, front end, suspension, steering, etc. I have the Lemans front end AND an authentic Endura front end. The body is sitting on a body cart with bracing (because it is a convertible). The body needs a lot of work BUT I have a ton of replacement metal from several doner cars to replace all of the rust. This is a great project car if you don't mind a little welding, bodywork and assembly. I would really like to find this car a good home. If you know cars, and are looking for a great project, and are not scared by a totally dissassembled car --- I know you will know the value of this. If you want to give a total lowball offer on this please save your breath. If you are interested I am more than willing to answer all questions about the car openly and honestly. Please be advised --- this is a PROJECT car. It is totally disassembled. You must bring a trailor and pick it up in Arvada, CO. Although it ran great before restortion, I can make no garauntees for how anything runs or fits back together. Please email with any questions.
