Vehicle Detail

Allow me to state right off the mark...that this car is correct, no DPO's (dumb previous owner) to contend with.In the world of British sports cars, this is a welcomed relief, and I have posted all the pix ebay allows to back that up...... What I am offering is a very well kept and serviced MGBGT, one owner for the last 24 years,in the best color to compliment the chrome Damask Red (maroon red).....It is a1974 56K original miles, one older repaint original Damask, still looks good, good body, good sills, rock solid under neath, nice chrome, original black vinyl/ cloth interior, everything works as it should but the brakes need two pumps. Engine/trans runs strong and smooth 65/75 lbs oil pressure, car drives straight and true...excellent exhaust with full Ansa exhaust. Michelin tires with matching spare, complete tools and clean rock solid spare tire area..Clear windshield, not sun faded, also has handbook in glove box and heated rear window, all gauges, switches and lights work, and a new Sears Die Hard battery this month....this nice GT took two trophies two separate years for second place at Carnival of Cars in Detroit a few years ago.Always serviced, It runs down the highway like a dream at 70.It is aging gracefully and has a few paint issues now such as chips and less than perfection repair work on one lower Q panel, but it does not detract from the whole of the car...to see it one must look hard for it or it will be missed. All the paint matches perfectly. This MGBGT drives/cruises as a solid no rattles steady piece.A confidence builder for long pleasure trips. It comes with some service records and literature. It has always been stored inside and has covered only 10K miles in the last 24 years.A well loved MGBGT. I will add more photos of the underside today, and more info as I think of it. My email is wsw245@broadstripe.net if you have any requests for addtl photos. More photos of the underside and suspension, and MGBGT brochure and informational MGB book.....These are all the photos Ebay will let me post. Good Luck. ...BTW...thats rain drops on the dog legs NOT rust bubbles....it was raining last night. Also, thats not a scuff on the front valance,it's a reflection... Please notice panel alignment and bumper alignment that I have purposely shown, they are excellent and correct ....no drooping bumpers or misaligned door chrome...Attention...more info, no aftermarket seatbelts on this low mileage car only the working originals, no funny aftermarket carb,no strange different color painted engine bay,and when you lift the floor carpets you see the same color floor boards as on the outside of the car. This is a no changed color repainted car. No sorting of the "Lucas" electrics...because they were never messed with to begin with. All systems work...a no surprises MGB GT as explained. May I remind you, the previous owner enjoyed this MGB for 24+ years. If you want an uncobbled survivor in very presentable condition, you have found it at a very reasonable starting bid. I have added a new photo of the cars national MGB membership and photo of the floor, rock solid with original rubber mats under the floor carpet.....the book and MGBGT brochure are still included. This MGB GT does not have any aftermarket Air Conditioning installed...it is primarily as it left the factory. ...4-17...I just took it in to Smoke&Dougs Main Street Auto Repair in Potterville Mi and had the fluids changed and the brakes adjusted....it now has full solid pedal and stops straight and true, with no pull left or right. This is a very nice driving MGB GT.. I now have some additional underneath photos for those that want to see them.... ....I just waxed it....then it rained...and it still looks great...... ....it was the best GT for the money at 8K,check it out...now it's back to $6500...and a real bargain...if you want it don't let it pass you by......
