Let me first say that this is one of those cars that you truly need to see in person and actually drive to appreciate! This wonderful Fire engine red T/A looks fantastic and runs excellent. Although the head turner phrase is used a bit much in today’s collector car world ….this mean machine truly does garner everyone’s attention each & every time she hits the road! You will not find many F body cars that are clean and damage free as this one. Let me say that this particular screaming chicken doesn’t have any body damage at all. It has never been involved in any wreck. The bright red exterior really glistens in the sun and even seems to shine when the suns setting! It is extremely fun to take this Poncho out no matter what the tempature is outside, however I think it is best reserved for sunny days. Amazingly this car has never been repainted! Yet the color is still very deep & rich! The exterior paint is in excellent condition, however you may find a paint chip if you are looking for it. This may not be a show car, but you will not be ashamed to enter it in your local car show. It is not a $40,000 Muscle Car however; it looks like a million bucks when cruising down the freeway. This T/A presents the perfect picture from every angle! The factory tinted glass is in excellent shape & the smoked T-tops are in pristine shape! You will also find the ever elusive T-top protection covers included with the sale of this T/A. Upon opening the door of this classic muscle car you find a near perfect interior! The seats are still firm and in stellar condition. The remainder of the upholstery is still incredibly nice. There are absolutely no burn marks or any damage to be found. All of the weather stripping is in great shape and the steering wheel looks as if it’s been wrapped in plastic since 2000. The door panels are in great shape but each one has a single split in them {please see photos}. All of the factory gauges still perform properly and all of the lights function as they are supposed to. Every single factory switch, knob and button are still in located in their proper place. The factory radio still kicks tunes wonderfully and all of the power accessories work {right down to the power antenna}. Now on to one my favorite items in regards to this amazing car. Since the T/A has been all about horse power since its inception “the LS1 motor must be spoken of”. The motor in this particular T/A is plenty powerful and will still push you back in the seat at the given command! What’s amazing about it is how strong and well maintained that it really is. The cars fires up with the slightest twist of the key and doesn't miss a beat thereafter. The V/8 in this GM product is very responsive which truly makes this car a blast to drive! Every original decal under the hood is still in place. The fluids have been changed quite routinely and the charging system is operating at an optimal level. The transmission engages with ease also {very powerful}. This is a very reliable car that you can cruise with confidence! She is definitely ready for the spring & open road. Speaking of cruising... this vintage pony car also has “brand new” performance rubber at all four corners! The nostalgic WS6 factory chrome wheels are in great shape and compliment the vehicle well. In closing I would say that anyone who has serious interest in a classic yet modern muscle car would be impressed with this car. This classic car is very nice, original and collectable. This Pontiac turns as many heads {if not more} than most of the modern muscle cars. You can own this one at a fraction of the cost of the big dollar Muscle cars on the road now. I also have the factory original owners manual and dealers warranty cards, car cover, etc. This is a great opportunity to have a lot of fun for a little money!
