Good working condition. This car is my daily driver, believe it or not. Car is mostly original. Carburetor is updated to Weber, exhaust is redone, as well as the radiator and hoses. Shock mounts are clean with no rust. Paint must be original (BMW Granada) as far as I can tell, and I’m too big a fan of the patina to have dared to have it repainted. Tires are in good shape. Wheels are original and include the original BMW hubcaps. Know what you’re getting into though. This car is 44 years old. It has been mechanically checked out to be sure of general safety and I have diligently kept it rolling, but this car has never been a restoration project. At some point in her long life there was a minor front collision. I don’t know any details other than the scars; cracked bondo under front bumper, front driver side grill is missing a couple cross pieces, and passenger door catches slightly on side of front hood. Spare wheel well is rusted to the point of seeing pavement below, but has still been holding the spare tire with no problem. Interior is original and has the wear and tear to prove it. Buy this car for the feel of the well-worn steering wheel while listening to the sweet sound of the engine accelerating in 4th, or to admire the stamped 1968 Bayerische Motoren Werke riveted label plate.
