What we have here is a 1964 Thunderbird convertible that is totally rust free and original red on red with a white top I have owned it for about 8 years and have probably put 20 miles on it the good is that there is not a speck of rust on this car top to bottom everything is there and its a highly optioned car with the build sheet and title in hand.The car has power windows all the window motors work but the switch shorted out and I have not replaced it yet power seat,power steering that has a hose leaking and air conditioning,not working but all there,power top hydrulics work but the switch that raises the trunk went out so I manually raised the trunk so you could see that the top worked I have 2 new switches that come with the car.It has had a miner body repair many years ago on the left front the paint is original except for the left front fender and a spot on the trunk that was spotted in and theres a scrape on the left lower rocker but as I said there is absolutly no rust in the trunk floors rockers quarters this car is totally rust free easy repaint it needs the rear window replaced and a paint job to drive every day or an easy restore for shows.The interior has a perfect dash all the seats are good except the drivers I have a picture of it and the rear seat belts where added and are blue the front are originals and red the door panels are good except for a spot on the drivers door where they always wear and I believe it can be repaired pretty easy,There has been a after market alarm added that is period correct for the car and it still works.It has the original spare tire and jack still in it.The carpet is also in good shapeThe interior is all there and in good condition its dusty because it has been sitting in my garage for the last 8 years,The mechanics are also good I would freshen the engine because there is a little blow by.I believe that its a numbers matching car ,I had it checked when I bought it but I did not do it personally.I had the transmission rebuilt heater core replaced carb rebuilt gas tank cleaned new brakes master cylinder and brake booster,brake shoes, new resenators for the exhaust carb rebuilt but It has been sitting and may need to be gone thru again The car runs and drives fine trans shifts perfectly no rattles or shakes also has had 4 new tires put on it I am sure I have for got some thing so ask questions I hate to sell this one but I have other projects and just dont have the time for this one. Sold as-is no warranty Deposit paid by pay pal ok This is a rare find in This condition.Thanks for looking.and bid to own.also i forgot the front bumper is bent on the bottom look at the pictures can be straightened easy.On Apr-10-12 at 05:33:33 PDT, seller added the following information: There may be a little confusion about the condition of this car.It is a running driving car that needs a little fine tuning from sitting so long.I drove it a couple of miles Sunday.So mechanically it needs nothing.the interior is in good condition except for the a small place on the drivers seat and door arm rest.I would replace the top but you could get by with just replacing the rear window and the switch is bad for the part that raises the trunk but the hydralics work fine and its all there on the top.The pictures are from sunday.This car has no rust and has had no rust repairs its the original paint and it has never been taken apart so every piece is original to the car.This would be a very high end Thunderbird with very little effort.Its equipped with power steering,power brakes ,factory air conditioning,power seat,power windows and swing away steering.its like it was taken out of a time capsule from 1964.Its all there no parts to hunt down and the most important part a very small body shop bill if you have it repainted which I would.It only needs freshened up or polished up and drive your choice.
