Vehicle Detail
For Sale is my 1981 Porsche 1981 911 SC. As of this listing, my car is in outstanding mechanical condition and drives surperb! . I purchased the car a couple of years ago with the intention of completing a true factory correct restoration. The body is in (near perfect) rock solid rust free condition, with the grand prix white color in very nice original condition. The interior is navy blue., which is in pretty nice shape for it's age. My car is totally rust free top to bottom. When I bought the car she had one cylinder at 60%, so rather than opt for a top end service, I opted for the best of the best in total rebuilds. She just had her 2nd service since the overhall, at 6K, which included full valve adustments, oil change ( with Motul), complete retorquing, etc. In addition, I had the car fully aligned, and corner balanced. In sum, have spent $32,000 + restoring the mechanicals of this wonderful car. The engine blueprint is from the ground up and includes a full crankcase service and nspection, new mahle nickie's, with fully balanced JE pistons, complete cylinder head performance service incuding new valve seats, performance springs, guides, performance studs, and all upgrages to resolve the metallurgical issues that resulted in oil leaks etc. The transmission hadsbeen totally rebuilt including new syncros, dog gears, shift linkage, clutch linkage, clutch, pedal cluster, bearings etc. . In addition, The A/C has been fully serviced (new dryer, evaporater, condensor, switch) and blows cold for a york compressor set up. In addition, she comes with many factory parts including new bumper parts, trim, seat belts, emblems, rubber parts, pedals, etc. I am happy to email interested parties, a list of parts and and so forth. I would love to keep the car, but unforseen cirumstances, find me in the postion of selling some assets. I have never ripped anyone off on ebay (see my feedback on sales), and would never do that to anyone. This SC ie really pretty, drives better than new, sounds great, and can be driven for many many miles. Please call with any questions you may have. Thanks for looking. Michael (703-300-3716).
