You are bidding on a 1996 geo metro 3cyl hatchback with approx 145K miles on it. The car runs and drives good. i bought the car about 3 and a half years ago and have used it as a daily driver until last month when i had a minor fender bender with it. The car still runs and drives, but is out of alignment and the front bumper is damaged. Mechanically the car is strong and has never let me down. Since i have owned it i replaced the clutch at about 110K and the catalytic converter and muffler. The car also does have a slight oil leak and requires about a quart of oil every 800 miles or so. Also the front passenger side wheel is dented inward and may need to eventually be replaced to pass inspection again. The car doesn't have a current inspection sticker, however it did pass with no problem 2 years ago and once the wheel and alignment is fixed it should be able to again and the emissions should be good as well due to the newer exhaust parts on it. With a little tlc this car would save you a lot of money and should be a dependable car for years to come. Gets between 40-45mpg! I have done my best to describe the car. I will continue to mess with it and try to get it open before the auction is over so the fluids can be checked. If I am unable to get it open this is obviously something that will eventually need to be addressed. The drivers side A arm and frame has a hole in it and rust around the area. The passenger side looks good. Also the service engine light is now on and after running a diagnostic check it appears to need an o2 sensor. The good news is i was able to get the hood open. I want to disclose everything i can about this car and i am sorry i am just discovering this now. If the high bidder wants to retract i understand and if anyone wants to make offers let me know.
