64 Mercury Comet Caliente. "K" code car with 289 and 3 on the tree. Runs good, has a mild cam and Edelbrock intake with 4 barrel and headers. Very nicely done mini-tubs. Narrowed 9" with Richmond 3.89 gears, new posi unit, 31 spline Moser axles, and big 11" drums. Crites traction bars and sub-frame connectors installed. Wheels are 15x8.5 American Racing TTO with Mickey Thompson 28x12 Sportsman S/R radials. Front Wheels are 15x5.5 with a 26x6 with matching Mickey Thompson tires. All the Crites components for the front end are included to set a big block FE engine in it. This includes springs, shocks, motor mounts, templates for cutting shock towers and heavy plates to go back in. This is a very solid car. My plans were to build a Don Nicholson A/FX style street machine. A lot of the hard work is done. It is running and driving as it sits. Take it to the next level or enjoy as is.
