This 2000 Mustang Coupe is Lamborghini Orange purchased by me four years ago, totally disassembled.The hood is fiberglass and is House of Kolor Flat Black. The dash assembly had 149000 miles on it at the time I bought it. Essentially, I rebuilt the car from scratch. The motor is the original 4.6 mod 2 valve, but the short block was totally rebuilt. Many parts were missing after I had about thirty boxes of stuff in my shop, which I had to sort out.Therefore, I purchased many new parts for this car from Late Model Restoration. The shortblock is new, it has a composite intake and the original throttle body. The transmission is rebuilt and is 5 speed with Pro 5.0 Shifter. Trans has heavy duty clutch and pressure plate. AC has been rebuilt and works fine. Radio is Kenwood moderate priced with cd player and usb port. Interior is black leather worn but comfortable and intact. Interior rug is 95% finished, with a few empty spots, which are out of sight. I also put noise-heat control wrap on the floor boards. Cruise control works and all new disc brakes all around with ceramic pads. ABS light is on, I did not change the ABS unit, this does not keep the vehicle from being inspected in NY. It could just be a blown fuse on the ABS, I have not checked that. I have one set of keys for the vehicle with keyless remote. The driver's side lock does not function, an extra key fits the lock but I did not hook up the lock mechanism to the door. As you can see, I am driving it now. There is no spare with the car or jacks. The wheels are American Racing Dale Jr models with 245/40R18 Riken Rapters and have less than 1000 miles on them. I have wheel locks on all sides. I have Flowmasters with deep sound and new cat backs. The underneath was painted black, there is some surface rust but nothing deep. On the driver's side on bottom of door there is a small paint blemish with underlying rust which is shown in the pics. The ABS light is on and the traction control does not work. This car turns heads and people really like the look. I took the idea from the summit catalog back few years ago. I have receipts for all the new parts and can verify the motor work from the engine builder who also rebuilt the trans and rearend which has 355 gears. I am selling because I am building a new race car and need the cash. Buyer will be responsible for shipping or pickup.
