I have a 1 owner 1965 Mustang Fastback, I purchased 2 years ago from the original owner. It was stored in a barn since 1984 .It has original everything minus the wheels . It has a remarkably nice interior including the original floor mats. The drivers side mat is torn But the rest are fine. The drivers seat has some checking in the seam but rest for it is nice.The carpet is original with some fading at the hump by the shifter. the headliner and fold down seat are excellent. Everything works in this car . The engine is a 6cyl. with a 3 speed automatic. I drove this car last year for the summer and It runs and drives very good. It has a small drip coming from the heater core(new one included). And slight exhaust leak coming from under the hood. ( doughnut or manifold Gasket?) I rebuilt the carb and a new fuel pump. Original included. Changed the oil and filter, serviced the transmission. new points and thats about it. The front brakes grab a little But they do work good. The body is in good shape with mostly original paint Ther is some rust on the bottoms of the fenders and doors .The quarters look like they have been repainted years ago,and the rear frame section has minor typical rust as seen in pics. the floor boards also have some repairs. I collected enough parts to convert it to a v-8 But Too many people thought the car was to original to convert it and It gets GREAT gas mileage. No parts are included. IT started right up after a long winter . I put the tires and wheels on the car, the original rims are 13" with very bad bias ply tires with flat spots and tires are not easy to replace. the chrome has pitting and the paint is faded in some places. I think floor pan would need to replaced. I bought it with the expectation of building a Shelby clone .
