2002 Honda S2000 Spring is here!!!...Selling this beautiful convertible spa yellow 2002 Honda S2000. You will get many looks and compliments in this car. Spent $$$$ in extras and bodywork. The car runs perfect and has no mechanical problems. The engine is untouched and untampered with. Regular maintenance done to car (synthetic oil changes (Mobil 1), tune-ups, etc) and still runs strong, never abused. Suspension is stock and untampered with as well. Car is very responsive car and very fun to drive. Convertible top is in decent condition (does have some small tears described below), but mechanism works fine. (Drops / raises in about 12 seconds) This does have a glass rear window and not the plastic scratchy material like in previous model years. Aftermarket exhaust installed and sounds beautiful, not a lot of drone at normal speeds and is perfect at VTEC. Always Garaged...Reason for selling: Starting a family need to upgrade to bigger car. I purchased car while living in CT (Apr – Oct) then car was shipped when I moved to FL and has been here ever since. THE GOOD: Spec Sheet: · Custom Ground effects (Front Bumper, Rear Bumper, Side Skirts, Fender flares and Convertible/Tonneau Cover) · Custom Emblems - Superman "S" on sides and rear · Red Brake Calipers w/ S2000 label · Custom Wheels (19' Axis Seven Mods - Black with Machined lip) · Custom Side Mirrors - APR Carbon Fiber mirrors · Tires (225/35/19 FRONT & REAR) · HKS Hi-Power Catback Exhaust · HID Xenon Lights · JVC AVX2 Head unit with 3.5" LCD Screen. DVD/MP3/CD player with remote and an iPod/iPhone plug via headphone jack (Note: Module is in place so driver controls near steering wheel does control Radio) · Custom sound – Added Rear speakers installed behind seats (2-way Sony 5 1/4" speakers), 10" Sub in custom enclosure and amp in trunk. (Sony Xplod) · Viper alarm w/ Engine disable feature and proximity module. (Alarm sounds if someone stands too close - adjustable) · 115,000 miles on the odometer. (Actual: See Note Below) · Only Mobil 1 Fully Synthetic Motor Oil used since I’ve owned car. MILEAGE: Actual Mileage is 112,454. (Mostly Highway) Car is still driven 2/3 times a week until this sells. Once FULL payment is received, I will notify winner of current mileage and garage car until pick up/shipment. Car's mileage will not exceed 115,000 miles upon completion of sale. THE BAD (Damage): Rear Bumper: Rear bumper does have slight damage around the license plate. Someone rolled into my rear bumper while trying to take a picture of my car on his phone and cracked the license plate area. (Photos below) Was a low speed accident so frame is not damaged. Was quoted $600 by insurance to fix, but that is to return it to stock. Aftermarket bumpers are cheaper so will probably cost you a lot less. Shop can probably even fix the existing bumper. Other: Front bumper has normal chipping from use. Driver side fender flare has 2 inch small crack and side of rear bumper has 5 inch crack. (Photos) Easily filled by any body shop. Wheels have some curb rash. Leather has some wear to it. Convertible Top: Does have some small tears (1 inch) starting to form in the usual spots. Does not leak and I’ve patched from inside as temporary fix. Top still does go back no problem, but repeated use may enlarge the tears over time. Windshield Two Small Rock chips in the windshield, have not spread and barely noticeable. IMPORTANT! SHIPPING: Buyer responsible for setting up shipping. Car can be shipped with convertible cover on (top down) but then car should probably be in an enclosed trailer to protect cockpit from elements. Convertible cover can fit inside cockpit w/ top up while being shipped but at least one window will have to be slight open in order for cover to fit properly inside. Please verify shipping company will allow item to be stored in cockpit as some don’t allow items in cockpit.
