This Thunderbird is the highly sought after sunroof model and has the desirable Thunderbird 352 Special V8 Engine (300 Horsepower) 4-Barrel Holley Carburetor with the Dual Exhaust System. Options include power steering and brakes, power windows and power driver's seat (option list in original build sheet shown in pix). Bought from an older gentleman who had it since new. Over the last few years the Thunderbird got new brake and fuel lines, wheel cylinders and master cylinder as well as a new radiator and hoses. 352 V8 rebuild in 2002 included new carburetor, water pump, power steering pump and generator, engine compartment nice and clean. Pertronix electronic ignition replaced points setup, original hardware in Pertronix box in trunk. The entire front end was rebuilt in 2010, including ball joints, bushings, idler arm, tie rods, shocks and steering dampener. Sears bias ply tires all around, great shape with no dry rot. Interior is in great shape, dash perfect with no cracks or warping (dashboard may have been replaced, it's immaculate), chrome on dashboard in great shape, new glove box insert, new dome light bezel and lens, door panels very good, seats have some open seams under covers. Dealer installed driver's seat belt works, passenger seat belt still in original box as seen in pix. All guages work as well as all four power windows, passenger front window has cracks but is intact. Driver's power seat works. Sliding manual sunroof works perfectly, latch opens and roof slides back with ease, snaps closed with the turn of the latch. Original AM radio works, no static. Original paperwork as shown including build sheet, bill of sale, warranty, owner's manual and 1960 Thunderbird catalogue. Always garaged, the paint is original and still shines up well. Thunderbird is solid all around, no bondo, floors, trunk and frame are clean, body is very straight, doors close easily. All spring loaded door lock covers work as well as trunk lock "sliding bird". Starts easily even in cold weather, doesn't leak anything, garage floor always dry when I pull her out. Cruises nicely on the highway, holds the road perfectly. Runs very strong, LOTS of power from the 352 V8. Tracks straight as an arrow and brakes evenly, no pulling or fading, suspension and steering are tight. She's roadworthy, all directional/brake/turn signal/headlights work as well as wipers and horn. Drives overall like an American classic sportscar should. VIN is 0Y71Y167887.
