..an original right down to the sticker on the speedo, the only exception is the steering wheel which is a 1970 and old repaint, the steering wheel in the pix is original but now on my other car,so I put the 1970 wheel on this car. Make no mistake this car is not for the faint of heart, it requires full restoration, but is eminatly worth the trouble as it is a very early version and in mine and many others opinion the most desirable of the series... As always,rust is the major issue ,but reparable, the frame has some rust also but the car is NOT buckled and as the photos show capable of supporting itself. The engine runs on starting either, The trans is good,as I drove it up/down the drive with a jar of gas far enough to test it two years ago,but this car is not drivable The car was originally jasmine with black int...code 34/11...as usual this car shows better in photos that real life...Not hugely so but expect it.Suprisingly,the floors are salvageble and the inner fenders and battery box are NOT rusted out.This TR6 is historicly significant in that it was made right after TR250 production stopped and in the year 1968, and mostly as Triumph wanted not as the US Gov't wanted.Please review all the photos, I want you to have no surprises..if you have any questions...wsw245@broadstripe.net I have also included a nice snug top hardtop with the TR6 in this auction as well as lowered the price...a very fair deal. as always...I reserve the right to end this auction outright as long as the reserve has not been met.
