Relisted because the winning bidder last week for this Mustang GT Convertible claims he didn't realize he was the lead bidder on this and has no intentions of completing the sale.. My wife insists she get her spot in the garage back- and that I try one more time. She's tired of 4 cars and only 2 people. I guess I can't blame her. So it's available one more time. Here's the scoop... This car is ready to go for top down season and has a way above average Auto Check rating of 71 (see clean history report). Last week when it was 80 degrees I enjoyed an 80 mile trip thinking it was my last drive with sunshine all the way. The pictures tell the story. It looks great from any angle and will make someone a happy camper for the new top down driving season. I purchased the car in Feb 2011 and only put on about 4000 miles since. The carfax showed one owner which means someone enjoyed it before me for a long time. Was told it was a trade from a young mom with two kids- there are rub marks on the rear seat where car seats would go.Beautiful deep pacific green finish.with metallic gold tone pinstripes and matching rear bumper Mustang GT inset. Has 4.6L V-8 power performance matched to the 4 speed automatic transmission. It runs on regular gas and throws off that throaty exhaust rumble. Just loud enough to make your head turn when you hear it coming because you want to see what it is.Aluminum wheels with 245/45 R17. The clear coat has peeled and discolored in places as you would expect with a performance car this age and some edges scraped by previous owner.Tires- Michelin Pilots on the front in good condition, Hankook Ventus on the rear- one brand new. Immediately replaced the tan top. Opted for the one piece with bigger vinyl window. Gives much better rear vision but disables the rear defrost. Black cloth headliner in nice condition.Includes black parade boot. I rarely used it but it sure makes the lines of the car look clean and sharp as you see in the pictures. Saddle tan leather interior looks good for its age- driver's seat has creases as you would expect but no splits. Very comfortable on a long drive. (see new pictures added 03/11/12) Mach 460 factory sound system with CD and cassette with digital display.Power windowsPower door locks with keyless remote entry. Has 2 Ford keys with matching remotes(look original to me but I can't say for sure) Power top works smoothly and quickly (This is important since I drive with the top down a lot and will pull over to raise the top only of rain is imminent.) I has new radiator and heater core installed in local shops. If you're familiar with Mustangs the heater core itself is inexpensive but cost me hundreds to replace because dash has to be removed. Air is ice cold and the new heater blows hot. Leather steering wheel cover. Brand new headlights. I couldn't stand the haze in the old housings so I replaced them both. Current PA inspection good through Feb 2013. Body and paint in good condition. Shines up very nicely. There are spots where I touched up scratches that I couldn't get clear pictures of. They look good from a distance but they are not perfect.One rear seat belt does not retract.OEM looking foglights were disconnected by previous owner. So even though there is a switch on console it does not operate.I don't have owners manual but I do have a Haynes manual that I will include. I used the middle priced shipper quoted by ebay on my last purchase. The choice is yours. Ebay's auction format has worked nicely with the last 7 trucks I sold and the 2 cars I've purchased.
