Vehicle Detail
For sale is a 1950 Nash Custom Ambassador 4 door sedan, the pinnacle of streamline design. Nash won awards for aerodynamic.s with this car. Some people refer to them as a bathtub. Man this thing is cool and roomy, It's like driving a Jetson's mobile. It's a driver! Inline overhead valve 234 cu. in. 6 cylinder with an Hydramatic trans. Engine runs nice and car is driven! Just replaced the valve cover gasket and adjusted the valves. Transmission has a flare when it upshifts but just drive through it and the trans holds in each gear the way it should. Previous owner stated it's been like that the few years he's had it, and hasn't got any worse, fluid is nice and red! They do have bands that can be adjusted externally if it actually bugs you that much. Was at Woodward dream cruise last year. Body is very solid with a couple little holes in floor and a little in trunk, nothing that I would even repair, just drive it and have fun! All the chrome and stainless is still pretty nice, tires are like new radials, runs, drives, stops, lights work, gauges work, interior is original and worn but is still all there, visors, headliner, etc., side glass has some cracks, front and rear glass has none, windows all go up and down, locks work. Run it as a Rat Rod or do with it what you will. This is a rare and hard to come by car. Poss trade for big old Harley of similar value. Vehicle is for sale elsewhere so auction could end at any time, no warranties implied or written. Do not bid if you have less than 10 transactions or less that 100% positive feedback.
