This listing is for a vintage 1982 Honda Prelude with only 115,150 original miles in amazing condition! I am the second owner of this car having owned it for the past 8 years. It has never been in an accident. For the first 5 years that I owned it I invested alot of time, money and love into it making it what it is today. It was in great shape when I started with it but it is in amazing shape today. I was planning on keeping it forever but after I had some major reconstructive surgery on my lower back it is almost impossible for me to drive it now. My hope is that there is someone out there that will love it as much as I have. This is a very clean and desirable 2 door 1982 Honda Prelude in silver with a 2 tone red cloth interior. This car has the low mileage Honda 4 cylinder that is known for trouble free service and durability. Everyone knows that this motor is almost indestructible! Every Honda buff knows that this motor is good for at least 300k and with only 115k miles; this Honda is just broken in! This clean little sports car has been garage kept and has no rust/rot even in the typical places. The 5 speed MANUAL transmission makes this Honda a pleasure for anyone to drive and adds to MPG! With today's fuel prices, every cent counts! The tires are almost new and the original Honda wheels are extremely fresh and have no curb rash. The wheels and JVC stereo with Ipos connection are the only non-original items in the car. Wheels are from a newer Prelude that were sandblasted and painted to match the car. Tires are as new as well as the battery. The windows have recently been professionally tinted adding to how sharp the car looks. Mechanically there is nothing that it needs. Timing belt was done at 85K. Oil has been changed every 2000 miles. Only thing that you may notice when driving is a slight shimmy in the brakes but it has never bothered me enough to worry about. Constantly gets above 34 MPG. Great power band makes it a gas to drive. Power roof works great. Interior in great condition but it is the next area I was going to invest some money. Has collector plates. As can be expected from a Honda 4 cyl motor this car runs great. The extremely clean silver exterior paint is fresh and looks great even from 12" away. . NO RUST! The cloth leather interior is in great with only minor blemishes to the upper driver's seat. The plump seats make this sporty ride very comfortable. There are no kick marks on the door panels or cracks in the dash. The front and rear bumpers are in fantastic shape. No A/C. Please be advised this is available locally for sale as well.
