For Sale: 1995 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT Cummins 5spd 4WD truck. This truck is mechanically in perfect condition. There is body rust holes in drivers side door and rocker panels.(see pictures) This truck has NO rust anywhere on the frame or drivetrain. All features work properly. Interior is in good shape with no cracks on the dash. All options such as power windows, locks, dials, gages, heater controls, and suckh work well. The AC works very well as does the 4WD. I use 4WD every day going up and down my driveweay. The windshield has a crack on the very left side and some glazing. The truck has a BD steering stabilizer system bolted onto the frame and steering gearbox. The engine runs very well and starts at -30deg without being plugged in! (block heater works properly too.) I started it at -32deg last winter without being plugged in and it ran well. The tires were new last spring and the unit also has new rear drums, brakes and e-brake cables. All work well. It has newer shocks, steering gearbox, fuel sending unit, front calipers, rebuilt front and rear drivelines, rebuilt transfer case, clutch is about 3 years old, but works well and functions properly. No weird noises, and handles well on the highway or off road. I re-sealed the tappet cover, front main seal, front gear cover, installed new injection pump and stage 1 injectors (50hp) and transfer pump. The water pump and t-stat are newer as is the fan clutch. This truck has had synthetic oil in it all of its life. So has the transmission(syntorq), t-case (ATF+4), front and rear diff's (lucas synthetic). I run valvoline premium blue extreme 5w40 in the engine and fleetguard stratapore filters. The engine burns no oil and leaks no oil. The entire truck has no leaks as I am a diesel mechanic and am particular about this. (There are under body pictures (muddy) to show this.) I also just ran the overhead and replaced valve cover gaskets. There is a #7 torque plate in the Injection pump as there has been since before 100K. I welded in a support for a fifth wheel ball and used it 1 time to haul a car back from Kansas City, MO.. the bed has some rust above wheel wells, but is straight and tailgate functions properly. The bed floor is in great shape. I regularly use this for work trips and weekend projects. This is my daiyl driver right now. I Have 5 other vehicles and decided to sell this one as it would make a good dependable daily driver or a good project driveline swap truck. This truck gets 17-18mpg around town and up to 24mpg going 70mph on the interstate. It is truely a very dependable workhorse and has been the best truck I have ever owned. There is a Sony stereo and 2- 12" subs with a kicker amp. Spare tire is good and all jack tools are present. Fuel gauge works intermittantly, I installed new sending unit in tank, problem must be in gauge or harness near tank. Front aux driving lights work very well. Brush guard is in good shape. Reciever hitch is also in great shape and 9pin plug works well. There is also a trailer brake. This vehicle is also for sale here locally. You can buy this truck and drive it back to wherever you live. It is very dependable!
