1938 OLDSMOBILE 4-DR 6 CYLINDER PLEASE READ ENTIRE AD AND LOOK AT ALL THE PICS BEFORE BIDDING OR ASKING ANY QUESTIONS! Fresh barn find, one family owned car. This was purchased new and has been handed down from one generation to the next and always kept in the family. I am selling this for a friend that purchased it from the last family member that doesn't have any interest in it. He got it running by replacing the head gasket and putting a new battery in it. It runs great does not smoke or knock! It will need brake work, fuel pump rebuilt. It appears to be all there short of the shift knob is missing? It has a flat head 6 cylinder engine with a 3 speed floor shift in it and running on a soda bottle gravity feed. He has driven it very short distances to check transmission and rear end and it all seems to be in good working condition. This is worth restoring since its all there from what I could see and runs very good, I was really surprised on how well it runs and how easy it starts. The body is in good condition considering the age. There are 2 areas with rust holes, one is the bottom of the left front fender and an area in the trunk that are in the pictures, besides for that is all surface rust and dents. The frame is solid no rust holes at all! I will put a video in soon so you can hear it run and see it run.
