Born and raised California car. Always a California car. assembly plant in South Gate Ca. Rare four door car. Only 8,978 produced and is the least made of all the four doors for that year. Model number 4739. The Buick has the floating eye brows and the delta wing design. The interior is original and in very good condition. The paint has been redone quit some time ago with the original color. I would say it is good. Not a show paint job. The chrome is very good. the glass shows very well and headliner, door panels, dash, and has new carpet. The trunk is all original. She has the original GM rubber mat in place, and all trunk boards look very good. The rubber trunk seal has been replaced as most of the door rubber has been replaced. The upper rubbers need some attention. This model has the mirrored dash on the drivers side. All interior lights work as they should. All drivers lights, blinkers, work as they should. Transmission is the twin turbine. She shifts as she should. The motor is a 401 nailhead V8. I have rebuilt the water pump, carburetor, and the radiator. All original. I have replaced spark plugs, AC Delco, and all the belts and gas lines that needed to be replaced. New fuel filter also original. Glass type. The exhaust could be redone. Is original except the muffler which could be replaced. Changed all fluids. The windshield wiper motor has been acting up. The car has no rot or rust anywhere. The previous two owners had her in a enclosed storage. She has wide white wall tires with good tread. Tires are older but look very good. She has power steering and the car drives like a 61' Electra. The engine compartment is very clean and presentable. She also has the original glass bottle for wiper fluid in very good condition. She is a very nice example of this year car with very clean interior that shows better than good. No cracks on the dash and no tears in the interior. Has the original jack and has a spare tire.
