The original 350 engine was replaced with a strong running all stock 1970 Pontiac 455 engine putting out 360 + hp and 500 lb ft torque. The original TH350 trans was replaced by a 700r4 overdrive trans, making this Lemans an awesome highway cruiser without any sacrifice to off the line performance. 3.55 posi rear end. High quality aluminumized dual exhaust with Dynomax mufflers turn out a very deep exhaust note, great sound decible but not obnoxious. The car runs and drives as you would expect a low mileage, well maintained quality restoration to. The black interior is clean and presents well. Not show quality perfect but very nice. It has a combination of new and original components. The headliner is in excellent condition. The undercarriage is super solid and nicely detailed with no rust issues. Exceptionally clean trunk compartment. Classic 15” Pontiac rally wheels are mounted to new Goodyear GT tires. Sway bars and rear link suspension with polyurethane bushings.Options include power steering, power brakes, ice cold factory A/C, a functional hood tach, and like new chrome bumpers. Aftermarket radio and speakers. The 455 motor fires up easily and runs great with tremendous torque. The 455 runs all day at 185 - 190 degrees. Aftermarket water temp gauge placed inside dash.
