This is a 1987 Chevrolet P30 Box truck with a 6.2 diesel V-8 non-turbo engine. The kingpins ($800.00) were replaced 2 years ago, 6 new tires($1,000) on it two years ago and put around 5,000 miles on them since. Front shocks replaced a year ago. Truck rolls very good. Engine runs very good. Transmission works very good (automatic) with a dually rear end. The 40 gallon fuel tank is dirty inside and don't use it- haven't since I bought the truck 4 or 5 years ago. Instead, I installed a translucent 15 gallon tank that is inside of the truck, I just never got around to replacing the original tank and had the 15 gallon tank on hand. A new one can be bought on ebay for $50.00 plus another $50.00 for S/H. It has an oil pan heater installed. The door in back is the roll up type and rear bumper is low for easy access. This truck is emissions exempt. I don't need the truck anymore because I closed my business. This truck was originally a U.S.P.S. parcel delivery truck. The body is aluminum with a rear roll-up door, driver and passenger side sliding doors with sliding windows. This truck did not come equipped with air conditioning, only a fan. Of course, you can always put a roof-top air conditioning system. This truck is for sale locally and this auction will be cancelled if sold locally.
